Do's You should go to class daily. You should go to tutoring when offered daily. You should read before class. You should do all of your homework. Ask questions when you do not understand. Study in a group. Don'ts You should not work full time or more than one job. Do not give up. Do not skip class. Do no cheat on tests. Do not procrastinate. Do not cram the night before the exam. If you can think of more please add. Thank you

I agree with everything that you said here in your post. A freshman should always go to class on time, pass all of his requirements on time, visit the library often when he or she is doing his or her homework. Do not skip class is very important.

Yes they should. Did you do any of these things while in college. What advice do you have to give to other students?

I agree about the tutoring thing. If your college offer free tutoring then you should take advantage of it. During my first semester of college, my tutor helped me out a lot for a hard class and I ended up earning an A. Another do could be to attend office hours because professors are very helpful if there is something you don't understand in lecture.

Do not join major university organization, sorority/fraternity. Do it later when you're well acquainted with your school environment.
