Ever been at one of those fast food places (McDonalds, Taco bell, KFC, etc.), and they mess up your order? Doesn't that just anger you to no end? I mean, you give them the food you want, and you speak really clearly, and they still get it wrong?

We do get our order messed up from time to time. Usually it's no big deal and the mistake is fixed in a timely manner. It doesn't anger me as we are all human, what would anger me is if they refuse to correct the error.

Yes. It is definitely worse when you have driven away from the window and realize that you have to wrong order. Thats when you go back and you are not that polite person you were at the ordering window or speaker.

Now having been on the receiving end of the order I do know that those speakers reception aren't always the best.. but that is why you call back the order and make sure it's right. Then if it's wrong from there it was a mishap of a wrong sandwich given, or the people making the sandwich were working fast and misread. My husband and I have had to go back to a restaurant before because an order was messed up. We didn't call the place at that occurrence I don't believe but just went up there. We explained "we drove 20 minutes to get here from the next County over, we want our order right and fresh fries!" We got them!

This is something that I remember happening from the time that I was a very young girl. Even when my father was still alive this was happening. I even remember him proclaiming that "These F'ing restaurants on Versailles road can never get an order f'ing right." So now that I'm grown and I am the one placing the orders, I also find that my orders are frequently not given to me in the way that I've ordered them to be.

Whenever an order of mine is not what i ordered i would politely request them to change it to what i have ordered. Even if i have to wait 15 minutes more, it's alright with me. On the first place, i ordered that particular food because it's what i want to eat, so i have to have it as ordered.

It only really bothers me when something is missing, or when I have to go back because I didn't check my order before I got home. One time, they got my husband's sandwhich wrong, he eats everything plain and refuses to eat it any other way, and I didn't check before I got home. Well, he was so angry, I had to call the place and go all the way back to have it corrected. I think I was more irritated at the fact that my husband is so picky than I was with the fast-food place. We are all human and none of us is perfect, but I will admit that I have less patience when the same place messes my order up repeatedly... especially when they are not very busy.
