If you can call you friend up and tell them virtually anything and not have to worry about it leaving that room or someone else finding out about it...
You have a loyal friend.
If you can ask your friend for anything while you're in need and that friend offers it to you even when they don't have it....
You have a loyal friend.
If you can trust your friend with your life...
You have a loyal friend.
The list of analogies goes on... I have maybe 1 or 2 loyal friends out of all of my friends which I respect and love with everything that I possess. Everyone isn't as fortunate to have people like that in their lives... Are your friends loyal?? Do you consider yourself to be a loyal friend right back to them???

loyal friend? It seems an odd thing at this present moment. I might consider myself a loyal friend, but how other people judge me? whether they also a loyal friend? difficult to measure it, right? for me, loyalty will be in line and obtained when we appreciate the meaning of friends and friendship

I see. A lot of people don't appreciate the meaning of friendship these days as they have this "Well drop this friend find another tomorrow" attitude. I think that I am a loyal friend... I'd give the shirt off my back to anyone I cared for if I had too... and I only have a few loyal friends in my life now.., but I can say that I learned how to be a great friend... from them!!
Thanks for sharing your insight!!

It's a lot more different now than it was before. sometimes i envy my mom for having a lot of friends. i know how to treat them. anyways, the best thing to have maintained friends is when you don't mention any of your problems to them.

You know what?? You're right.. I don't wish for a lot of friends.. just a few friends and their trust. But it DOES seem like the less information that you share with them, the better!!

Some of them were loyal as we love, care , share our thought and also we were trusting each other so we were loyal to each other and I consider to be loyal because I help them where ever they require me.

You sound like a good friend to have. Continue to be yourself and a loving person and you'll have equally meaningful friends in your life.

Not in my life time.
Loyalty doesn't exist in friendship, unless you got money or you have something that benefits them. sorry to say this is something that I am completely Pessimist about. i would believe they're loyal if they don't talked or stab behind you. I remember watching that news about a friend conspired to steal the persons cellphone shop. fortunately, the person was captured with the help of the friends relatives.

I'm sorry that it is that way for you. I can say that I have a few loyal friends, but unfortunately most of them don't even live in this area anymore. I only have three best friends being one that I met working together, one that I met online and my grandmother. But, yes people are very manipulative these days. And most are only about ALL THEY CAN GET. But, they'd be sadly mistaken by becoming acquaintances with me because they won't get a DAMN thing from me. I do believe in helping people... but not people that aren't willing to help themselves. I hope you find a few people that you can relate too... that aren't deceiving and actually love/like YOU for YOU!

These days its hard to describe what do we mean by the term loyal? If there are people who stands for you at the time when the whold world is against you then consider yourself that you have loyal friends. At the same time if you stand for someone when most of them are against someone, consider your self a loyal friend.

You're right. Loyalty seems to be nonexistent in today's population, not to mention compassion. This is why I mainly stick to trusting my family and I trust very few people outside of my family. Hell, there are some people IN my family that I don't even trust lol.

That's great!! You should embrace those loyal friends and let them know that at all times they are appreciated since they are so hard to find. And, in turn you should be an equally loyal friend!
