friend, I beg to differ on your opinion about removing a disease from the face of this planet... are we truly having the CAPACITY or MORAL responsibility to remove another species from the life of nature? if you have read about sickle-cell anemia, .. which is a common feature among tribes of AFRICA.. you will understand, how nature has taken care ... on these adopted red-blood-cells of the human body, in those areas ... the malarial parasite plasmodium .. cannot reside and take it as its home. .. that way, .. the tribal folk of africa.. did not have the trouble of MALARIA.. but, when the modern medicines started CURING the disease of anemia.. they started losing the resistance, and dying with malaria. =----------please understand NATURE. ... thanks.

It is sad that mosquitoes exists in some of the countries. In some of these these countries there is unfortunately malaria. In a number of places there is yellow fever. I have visited two malarial areas on my traveling that I have done. I went to Sumatra and before arriving there I went through an area rife with malaria. I stopped taking my anti malaria pills due to a nasty side affect. Another time I visited Kenya and avoided mosquito bites with specially formulated arm and leg bands. I put on trousers after dark. Again due to bad side affects I stopped taking my anti malaria pills. I hope that someone comes up with a way to stop all people in the world catching malaria.

well. you are very true about the disease malaria.. it has been in existence since pre-historic times. .. and, you seem to be knowing that it is carried and spread around in human populace, through MOSQUITOES. and, that is one reason why you should be careful about WATER BODIES around your surroundings. particularly stagnant water. ... it is where the mosquitoes breed. but, the actual culprit for the disease is not mosquito, but .. a parasite of the genus .. called Plasmodium /// read more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaria it is not surprising, that Sir RONALD ROSS, found the parasite to be the culprit, doing his researches in my home town, HYDERABAD .. of INDIA.. you can now understand how many mosquitoes breed around here. thanks for the HOPE.. but, what is that? will you please give more information on that?
