When you get a new friend request do you go check out their profile and or website? I often wonder about this because I have more friends than I have profile views. What is your reason for checking persons profiles.

I check before accepting or requesting...this is a social community so everyone should be doing that. The idea is to get to know each other...find those that have the same interests...I have many friends outside of myLot that I met on myLot. This is a great networking opportunity that many overlook...why?

That is also how I look at it and to let you know I have checked your and you have some useful information. To me everyone has different ways of doing things and they might be ways that I have not thought of. Sometimes I look at a blog or a webpage and think dah I should have thought of that.

I am honestly not a person who checks people's profiles or websites. I am more of a person who is on myLot to earn money. Also the serious discussions are very interesting at times, but its more about the money.

Don't you think that checking a persons profile would some how lead to making more money. Isn't that how you invite friends and the more friends the more money. Just wondering.

Hi, cindystoufflet. I check a persons profile or website because I like to know more about them. I want to see if this person may reside in the same country that I am. And now I have been checking out profiles to see whom is coming new into myLot.

I certainly do check profiles before accepting friend request. With the ability of employers, agencies, ect to be able to track what you are doing over the internet, I do not wish to have anyone as a friend that I would not be friends with in everyday life. Even though we can use screen names on myLot, I treat this site as if it were like Facebook or any other site where my true identity would be known. Fortuneately the people here on myLot seem a little more tame in the images they share than on some other social networking sites.

see that is also a reason of having friends in mylot. but one thing, you have to always remember is " good to have too many friends". since i started myloting ery days back, i have few good friends. and of course cindy, once i finish my response to you, i will send my friend request too. then am not sure, if your profiles got more views than you got more money, but i assure that you got more friends. that is the thumb factor in mylot.
