Kids make the weirdest and funniest assumptions

My little baby brother was excited because my dad brought a new puppy to the house.
The new dog was a Japanese Spitz breed. Seeing that it was hard to train a dog to do their thing outside the house, he suddenly came to me:
Brother: Can you translate this for me in Japanese please? "Doggie, you should always pee or poop outside the house"
Me: Sorry I don't know any Japanese. Why do you ask?
Brother: The dog is annoying me. he's been here for a week yet he is hard to train. Since he is a Japanese Spitz, maybe it only understands Japanese.
In another setting, we were at the car early in the morning on the way to school and office. My brother saw a fat dog on the street accompanied by another dog. He noticed that it was the same dog we saw before only it was very thin that time. He then remarked: "Isn't that the thin dog we saw before? It's a good thing he has found a companion. Maybe his new friend taught him where to eat and that's why he is fat now."
I can't help but laugh.
...kids indeed make weird but logical assumptions..LOL..
Do you have similar experiences with kids?

One of my friends was pregnant and her little girl asked if it was going to be a black baby because they are so cute. Her mom said no because she and her husband are white. Another of my friends is pregnant and she had a scan. She had been told she was having a girl. So she went home and told her young daughter. Then a couple of days later the hospital told her they had made a mistake she is having a boy. She explained to her daughter. She said why isn't she getting a sister. She wants to send back the brother and get a sister.

My kids assume everything even after you explain it correctly to them.
The only thing I can think of off hand is when at a bridal shower my oldest one thought that the sexy nighty that the bride-to-be received was a "pretty tank top" that got some laughs.

that's so cute and funny! I can imagine the laughs shared that night. Kids are really cute. Especially when they make these simple yet logical assumptions.
