Does anyone here use this? Its AMAZING! its all I use to listen to music now, pretty much! It has such a wide variety of genres/artists! I have found so many new, great bands and artists through this thing. And its also great for getting into the bands you have always wanted to listen to but just never got around to checking them out!

I've never heard of Spotify, what is it? I have used another website called Slicethepie. It was pretty cool because I was making some money rating the music and hearing brand new music as well. So I got to learn of a lot of upcoming bands and artists, mostly from the UK. I stopped using it because I got bored and it was a buggy system, but I wonder if it is still around.

Oh cool! that sounds like it might be worth checking out, if its still around! Umm, spotify is basically like Itunes..It imports and stores all the music you have on your computer into its library..BUT! there is also a search function which allows you listen to pretty much every band/ genre of music you can think of! its a little like last.fm..dont know if you're familiar with that??

Yup I know last.fm. I tend to use playlist.com more often because I don't have to download anything and it has just about everything. Plus I can make multiple playlists and share them with others. The last time I used Slicethepie they made it so you have to earn a certain amount of credits to give to the artists first and then you can make like $.05 per song or something like that. It is still worth checking out.

yeah spotify is only limited in some european countries... i tried to open an account through one of these countries but instructions are written in there own language so i didnt understand it. so it was no good, but i think it was a good site though. hmm... while Slicethepie... yeah the last time i opened it, it was still Slicethepie but the second time around the site was redirected to soundout. anyway i know some sites also perhaps some of them were familiar to you. imeem and purevolume both of these sites allows you to have a free account and access of course to musician's profile and their music.
