Working at home with schedules & a real company

I think the greatest thing about technology right now is that we have the ability to make money from home. I am going beyond things such as Mylot where we earn bits and pieces. I am talking about real jobs at home. I think it's wonderful that there are companies out there that hire people who have disabilities and cannot work in a traditional work setting or who simply don't want to travel to and from work every day. I know of a list of over 1200 customer service jobs alone which is amazing. I think a lot of companies are beginning to outsource because it keeps down the cost of overhead for their brick & mortars. There are other jobs out there besides customer service but they are hard to get into. I've worked for two customer service jobs from home already. The first one, I had an old computer and the drivers weren't connecting with their software so I had to leave. But while I was there, it was very cool! To be able to sit at home and answer a phone call through a headset, then use my own bathroom and even cook lunch on my stove. I'm not going to get into what happened at the other one I worked at. But as of now, I'm looking to become a certified Arise Virtual Services Corporation so I can work my own clients and get others to work for me as well. I've heard horror stories and pleasant stories, but I feel like I would like to take the chance (because it is an initial investment since it's my own business). Hmmmmm.. Anyone else work from home or have worked from home?

I would love to get a 'real' work-at-home job. Mostly there seem to be job scams.

In my country there is lot of people which are sitting at home, because they can't to get out from it. But the only jobs which they can get at home is some knitting, wreathe, gluing etc. Also I know some persons who works at home as designers, but for that the person needs to get high education, which for people with disabilities is very hard. Jobs like data entry or costumer service online isn't needed for companies in my country, but that which provide USA and other countries aren't available in our location. So there is a little chance to get some real job online.

Yeah, I used to do some translations from home for a while, and it was very nice, actually. But it wasn't a full time job for me, so when I got a full time job, I had to go for that instead.
