Do you think that there is more to life than meets the eye? that there has to be more...Somehting beyond just being thrust into existence one day and being ripped away from it on another. I see threads mentioning weird coincidences and things like that..which leads me to ask another question..Do you believe in fate? If you believe in fate then that must mean that there is someone or something watching over us..Guiding our lives..Or maybe they have already been played out on some level...Anyway, do you think there is something beyond this life?

Hi Thumb, I believe there has to be something beyond the five senses. It is very difficult to live more than seventy years as I have, and to see most of your family and friends leave this earth and not believe in something more. I have my views and thoughts on the subject but of course none of us knows for sure but I feel certain there is something. I am not big on organized religion although I was born and raised a Christian. Perhaps it is best to say that it is all a great mystery and leave it to that. Blessings.

When I was a boy, I had an out of body experience and got to meet the saints (Peter prayed on me) and GOD talked to me. Yes, there is an afterlife. Jesus is the SON OF GOD. I have had a number of DEVINE experiences and know that it is true.

i believe that there is life after this life. i do not want to think that life here ends here.there have been evidences to show that there is something beyond this life. although they are not scientific, these pieces of evidences are enough to convince me that there must be something, somewhere out there after this life. it is a human desire to comfort and reward him/herself of good deeds one has done here.

yes, its part of the human condition isnt it..to want that security and comfort of believing that the end is not the end.

I am not religious, so I don't follow a certain rule of life. But I do believe that there is an afterlife because everyone makes mistakes and make faults, its only natural. But in life there may be time where u may have thought what if i did this or what if i did that? I think that when people past away there is another place for them to go to if they have some sort of regret they couldn't fulfill when they were alive. Though, the thought of a new life isn't half bad, where you can push the reset button and start a new life, but not everyone wanted to reset, they may as like some people like to continue looking after the ones they love in the world of living even if they aren't there to be with them. I believe there is an afterlife, "The end can not be the absolute end1"

well i don't believe in fate etc. coz our future totally depend on our mind. no one can control our minds. so our actions are just unpredictable.. plus i don't know anything about afterlife so no comments.. god knows if its true or just a myth..

To answer the question the "is there more than meets the eye"...sure there "are"...emotions can't be seen as well as the wind...if those natural things happens or exists without us seeing it...i think it is very logical, practical and natural to think that there is more than to expect after this life...i do have my own beliefs yet i don't want to be bias...fate is very logical to think that it exists.just think about every living creatures? whose managing them...are they just accidents...nah..i don't think so because even so called "accidents' and "co-incidents" happens one way or another because of something that happened before that accident...
