Using Isolation To Find Oneself

I find isolating myself to find out what I need to do in life or to stand back and rearrange my priorities to be no less than effective. Sometimes talking to others or voicing your concerns about issues in your life may not be the best thing to do at all times. Spending time to myself, reading, taking time to organize my thoughts, creating to-do lists and setting goals is mainly what I do during these time periods. Also, I spend a lot of time sleeping... even in a dormant state.. the mind is constantly thinking. Also, I use these time periods within my life to make sure my social circle is as it should be. If there are some people that are causing me stress in my life that I don't necessarily need in my life or possibly don't even care for, they are eliminated from my circle. I find that at the hardest times of my life... this is what works best.

All blogs don't have to be questions... they can be ideals or opinions that you have that others may share or relate to or in turn oppose or disagree with.

Sometimes it takes that... even though it shouldn't even be necessary.

I agree. Sometimes you have to be away from the forces that may influence you in becoming you you are to think what you really want to be not just waht they want you to be.

I agree with you. I think it is neccessary to take time to reevaluate your life when it get stuck in neutral or stress is more prominant than not. I am in the process of doing that right now. Seeing what I need to change...it seems to be a lot. I just need the space to figure it all out and then hit the ground running again.

Yes, at difficult times in your life, sometimes you don't need everyone in your ear giving their view on things or irrelevant advice. If you have to make a mistake, let it be based on YOU so that when it happens, no fingers can be pointed. You feel me?? But, I am in the process of doing the same as well. I hope that it works out for you... but I've tried it before and it has been proven to be no less than effective!! Thanks for sharing!! Feel better!
