Breastfed Babies

Most recently I've been a bit sad as I a weaning my son off breastmilk. I hate that instinctively still goes for the breast and yet I turn him away. Fortunately, he has had no problems with his Similac bottles. I too am weaning from a level of dependency once held by my no-longer newborn. He looked to me for nutrients and now it will just be for nurturing!

It was a stressful experience for me. I have two kids and for both of them I was very sad when the time for weaning them off came. It was especially difficult with my so. My mom had to take him to her house so that he wouldn't see me and feel my presence. My kids are now 11 and 9 years old but I feel sad when I remember those moments.
