Here in Eastern North Carolina one can hear a host of bugs, birds,and amphibians go bump in the night. Sometimes if sleep doesn't come right away you can be distracted from Zzzzs by owls whoing, crickets chirping, and frogs ribbiting. It's amazing the rhythm that can be carefully detected of all these different species on a given night.
