Why we always think for Ourself fast then for Other!!!!!

I always think for my self first an my family then for others is it good thing?.
I really don't understand as one always think for himself more compare to others how are not related to him/her So why this is it human nature .
I know many people how do work for others an care for others more then our self...........

All of us think of in favor of ourselves first because it is human's nature to protect itself from harm and to look for ways to make you feel better. Often we would think of ourselves first and we tend to forget that there are some people
suffering because of our selfishness. Everyone has his own form of selfishness and it just vary on the degree.

Its true selfishness degree varies but its always on oneside which is myself do u not think soo.....
