well, India is such a lovely country. we have all sorts of festivals. The raksha-bandhan festival, where a knot of thread is tied to the wrist of brothers... by sisters.. indicating the bonding, ... and brotherly love! ... it is so similar. friendship day, .. it is common, as you too know, to call everyone a friend.. even acquintences are called friends. but, .. yes.. if the spirit is continued ... all will be better! .. the world will be better! ...
