I've always been a "hat" person and I have a collection of hats for every occasion. My favourite hats are the simple sun hats, worn in the summer, especially at music festivals. I love being invited to weddings, another excuse to buy a new hat. Do you like to wear hats and if so what is your favourite type of hat?

Yes they used to wear them backwards here too...and cover their eyes from the sun with their hands lol. I never quite understood that

Oh yes haha I need the money. My earnings have not updated yet so I hope it works soon or I will just panic lol.

You know my daughter also wears hats and so I started getting into them. Except I buy them and never gotten in the habit of wearing them..The only time is in the winter and only to keep my hear warm..
I have this awesome straw hat that has a ribbon through it that would be a perfect gardening hat to keep the sun off me, but never felt right about wearing it. I wanted to buy one of those French hats that start with a "b" and can't for the life of me remember what they are called..But I know if I do, I won't wear it. I wish I could, I think hats are awesome..

Hello carmel :) I think you're referring to the Beret, they can look cool if worn with the right clothes and they're quite cheap. I don't have a straw hat, perhaps thats one that I should add to my collection :)

I do like to wear hats but I don't have very many. I have a couple of large brimmed sun hats that give excellent sharde and they really are very pretty.
To be honest though, I think my favotire hats are my winter wooly hats. I used to go hiking a lot when I lived in the UK, and a warn woolen hat was an essential. My best wooly hat has really bright stripes and you can see me from miles away.
