Is There Anyone On TV You'd Like To Punch In Real Life?

I should imagine there are a few with everyone out there but, of course, we cannot make lists of them. However, I can come up with a guy in the UK who - well, put it this way, he'd fit in really well on Fox News, even though he's a Brit. "Bigot" isn't a strong enough word for this guy. I'm talking about the one (and only, thank God) KELVIN MACKENZIE, ex-Editor of the Sun "news" paper, responsible for such mind-numbing headlines like "GOTCHA!" when we sank the Argentinian Belgrano ship during the Falklands War. He really is a moron of the highest order. If you don't believe me please take some time to read the Wiki article about him. It will give you an idea what he is like...and, believe me, I'm glad there isn't a pic of him because it will turn you into stone. I'm convinced that's what his heart is made of. He makes appearances reviewing the newspapers on Sky News occassionally and each time he's on I wish I had one of those foam bricks I could chuck at the screen. I just hate him! Is there anyone you dislike intensely? A TV presenter perhaps? Shep Smith? Why on earth he's on 7 million dollars a year is beyond me! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelvin_MacKenzie

Ty from Extreme Makeover Home Edition. He goes in, tears down these homes for people that can't afford to keep the upkeep on them. Then builds them an extreme mansion that they can't afford the utilities on so 2 years later they have to sell the home and start over. I live in Kansas and a few years ago a tornado came thru and ripped thru a town tearing the home of a family apart. The husband was a vet who was getting medically discharged from he army. The family was in desperate need of a home. Ty came in, cleaned up their lot, built a new home, and furnished it. However, half of the home was not finished. The only parts of the home that were finished were the images you saw on the TV show. Now, that family can't afford the taxes or the utilities for the home so they are being forced to sell it as is, since it never got finished. I think this is terrible. Yes, he does a good act on TV, the families are real, but the result of his show is terrible!!!!

Funnily enough, I've only seen one of the shows you mention but I DO know who you mean! I had no idea that what you saw was only a small part of it and not all of it is finished. My, we learn new things every day on MyLot don't we? To be honest, I thought the actual show was "manic" from start to finish and a bit TOO sugary for my liking. Quite nauseating actually. Thanks for making me not want to watch it again. Ty, what a stupid name!

i do feel that way every time i watch soap tv series as the villain is so bad or almost like a devil in my eyes that i wanna pull that actor out of the boobtube and squeezed the evil out of his system and throw him to the ground like a piece of rag after taking out his strength or life left in him. ha ha. that is why i don't want to watch too much soap that may cause too much reaction cause the tv series can be too realistic sometimes that we forget that they are just into acting and not the person itself they are portraying.

Are there any news presenters or anyone that isn't an actor that you don't particularly like?

i see some on some US programs that are being shown in the local cable channel in my country. but i don't watch them that much cause i don't like them and i can't remember their name though. and locally, there are some but i forgot who were those people , as i don't have any one lately that i really disliked. but few years there were some i am sure that i had this kind of feeling. but politicians, here in the country, i have lots of them that i hate or disliked so much that i would definitely want to give them a punch in their face.

What if you got someone else to do it on your behalf? Would that be worth contemplating? Hire our friend Michael maybe? Hmm?

Oh there is someone I definitely would like to punch and that is the smug Piers Morgan. I'm sorry but being smug, full of himself, arrogant and basically a waste of space I just can't stand the bloke and let's be honest without Simon Cowell giving him a chance on Britain's Got Talent he wouldn't be inflicted on us so much. I just hope his rising popularity on the other side of the water will mean we will see a lot less of him over her.

And he's got a silly name lol. I know what you mean, he is extremely irritating and smug, like you say. The thing is, whenever he jetsets all over the world we get to see him do that as well. Why can't they just leave him there and not bother bringing him back again?

Yes, there are quite a few in our area, but it is just impossible to just punch the television set. There's this TV with an old woman who talks about her religion like she were the sole authority of the topic. She puts down those who do not mention the name of God nor go to church as often as she said is required. I really want to pour a bucket of water on her.

I reckon he's a closet gay myself. Seriously...he's in denial, I'm convinced of it. The sad thing is, he adores animals but never, ever mentions that on his programmes. The likes of the RSPCA would make a fortune if he did. He's a hypocrite and no, I don't like him much either!!

Yes. Our Chief Minister. He has a lean and hungry look and behaves in a crude and uncouth manner, openly supports corruption and is corrupt himself! I dare not mention his name as there would be several here who might love him!

Oh dear! Politics is such a sensitive subject isn't it? I reckon it's the one subject that people get the most wound up over on here which is why I tend to avoid it. There will be people who actually believe what Kelvin Mackenzie says (even though he's tried politics and failed miserably) oh, and not forgetting The Sun "readers"!

There was and I did lol. Theres this country singer here that gets on my nerves everytime he's on tv, I turn it off or change channel. I used to work for the Quebec L*quor Board before and who walks in but him.....I was busy with a good customer, we would joke around and argue for fun with each other. This d*ck walks near us and suddenly, he tells me that I shouldnt be talking to a customer this way.......I told him to just mind his own business and if he didnt like it, to go to another store. HE was taken aback as not used to have someone answer back and thats when the customer told him what a d*ck he was and that we were just having fun. He turned red and left the store.......GOOD RIDDANCE!! He never came to the store again and I was really happy that I could tell him what I thought of him to his face!!.....made my day!

If you could line them all up and had to choose ONE that you were free to punch on the nose, who would it be? There's gotta be one that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

There are a few for sure! Lets start with Jeremy Kyle...Though it would be more than just one punch I assure you! Next up, Bill O'Reily...And throw in Sean Hannity aswell...That covers two of my most hated people on the FOX news network....And then maybe Louie Spence..For a laugh.

Forgive me for fogetting his name but who's the guy who has an hour-long slot at tea-times (US time)? I don't think he's on every day but he usually sounds like a preacher (is white with grey hair) and starts off in a calm voice, then when he utters the word "terrorist" or "national security" he suddenly starts shouting. Makes me jump every time. He's extremely right wing. I don't think he'd be allowed on telly over here although I reckon Kelvin Mackenzie would probably invite him over for tea!!
