Hello, I'm new here but ph? is definitely a dish I'm passionate about. Heavenly aromas wafting from the bowl, and delicate flavors dancing on your tongue is an experience to be treasured. If you have an interest in ph?, please share them here. I would like to meet other ph? aficionados.

hi! welcome to mylot! locally, i've only been to a vietnamese restaurant a few times. but last month, i stayed in vietnam for 2 weeks so i was introduced to different pho bo everyday for my entire stay. i'm not exactly thrilled by it because there were lots of dishes i wanted to try while i was there. but i can say i enjoyed the pho or the noodle soups a lot because of its rich aroma and herbs.

Great to meet you mylesnarvaez. It's wonderful to know that someone here has enjoyed pho. What was it like to visit Vietnam and what dishes you wanted to try? As for me, I can only dream about visiting other countries. I find Vietnamese cuisine exquisite with its unique textures and flavors.

thanks ladygamer. whenever i visit a country for the first time, i try to absorb some culture as much as i can. well, food is one thing i could try which is very much enjoyable. wide range of fruits which i really love. then seafoods and the soups (be it fish, chicken, seafoods, or beef). they use lots of greens and herbs which is really nice. soups are very tasty. i didn't try a lot of meats there... for a change. hehe but since i'm not into exotic foods, i didn't try the frogs, turtles, rabbits, eels etc. hehe i'm not that adventurous in food. most building structures are really narrow. lots of motorcycles. if there's 9 million population in ho chi minh city alone, about 7 million has motorcycles. so imagine that most roads have special lanes for them. we went for a taste of history, and the war as well as post-war stories are really sad and cruel to any nation.

hi! i didn't try it with the beef balls, but i did try with the beef slices and the beef brisket. there's a lot of exotic dishes in the menu. however i played it safe. hehe there's a floating restaurant in the floating market. they served really great fresh fish and nicely done squid. plus the special treat which is buco (young coconut) ice cream in a buco shell along with some garnishings. it was so hot when we visited there so the ice cream was great.
