Do you turn off your mobile phone if you are sleeping?

i do but it's already set to be off at 12:30PM as i must be asleep by then.. it's also set to alarm by four in the afternoon as i have to get up for work. it'll automatically turn on by four pm.

My phone is always on. I want people to be able to contact me in case of an emergency, and I also tend to use it as my alarm clock. People rarely call or text me- just my family and my boyfriend. They know when I'm sleeping, so they won't bother me.

I dont turn my phone off when I go to bed. I always worry if someone needs me during the night. I have had a few friends need someone to talk to at night, sometimes i respond other times I don't. Alot of people like to just randomly text me in the middle of the night so I think i might start to turn my phone off at night.

No I don't turn it off because it's the only means to contact me in case of emmergency. But what I do is to put it on silent so I won't be disturbed. And it's on vibrate too. I'm used to having my phone all the time so it doesn't really bother me as much.

Yes my cell phone is on all the time,but I usually put on silent mode because i don't want to disturb other specially while they sleeping.My cell always on even if I sleep I can still receive messages and calls,specially emergency happen to any of them.

My phone is always on. I'm even used to having it under my bed so i will be able to fell it vibrating just in case someone sends me a message or call me. I don't want to miss any messages or call. Besides, I use my phone as an alarm clock...

I always turn it on cause we might not know what kind of emergencies are going to happen at the middle of the night and someone might contact me and if I am not able to answer cause my phone was turned off then I will not be able to help.

no,i don't! for emergency purposes also.but for sure,i'll turn it in silent mode.for me not to be bothered if it rings in the middle of the night. for sometime,i used cellphone as my alarm to wake e up the next day. i do put my cellphone under my pillow on my head.to make me wake up when i have set an alarm there.

No. I've never turn off my mobile phone, it always on all the time. I have an old mother who lives in a different island than I, so I want her to be able to contact me anytime she needs to. My brothers also live in different areas, as well as my friends. I just want them to be able to reach me in any emergency.

no.since i don' have landline telephone so i always turn on my mobile phone.just in case if there is an emergency call from someone.

No I don't :D But since I have room mates I keep it silent mode. But I make sure that it vibrates when I receive messages or when someone calls me...:D Also, my mobile phone serves as my alarm clock.:D

I put mine in the other room, since it always stays in my purse unless I am charging it or synching it with itunes. However, we also have a land line so that is not a problem. If your only phone is a cell phone, it would not be right to turn it off at night because in essence it is your home phone. That is, unless it is a case like you have in having to wake up early and need all the sleep that you can get. Then I would turn mine off when I go to bed and before that to call my friends and let them know that they are not to call me at that time.

Nope,, Its always turn on.. So even if asleep i can still receive text messages and call, this are great specially if emergency occurs..

Hi, Wow...you have to start work very early.just wondering what kind of job are you in? For me, I won't off my mobile phone when I sleep. I on my mobile phone 24 hours standby,in case, someone need to look for me, they can get me anytime and anywhere I go. I even use my mobile phone as my alarm clock to wake me up every morning. I heard from my friends said that it is better to Off the mobile phone while charging the battery. It is to protect the battery lifespan. I am not sure how true it is.But I never off my mobile phone even if I am charging the battery.

I dont turn off my cellphone before I sleep. Some important might call or text me or there might be some emergencies. But the main reason would be, because I just get too excited to receive messages that I cant wait for tomorrow.

i don't turn it off but i put it on silent mode. My friends know that i don't answer or text back if its late already but to those who insist on contacting me well they'll get their response early in the morning.

im not turning it off. except in case that it is in low battery and i have no time to charge it. i use it everyday in alarming. i also use it to know time when i sometimes wake up during the night,.
