Hi everyone, it's been awhile sence I have been here...But, I really needed to vent over a greedy, self absorded boss....I have work at this company for 4 years. And we have one of the most strongest ladys I have ever work with in my life...2 years ago she ws told she had lung cancer...so she started treatment, in these 2 years she never missed a day of work, never once did she call in sick or call and say she was just two sick to work. She held her head high and continued on....then just a couple of months ago she took her vacation and went to see another doc. in another state and there they found the cancer had moved in to her spin and into her brain....still she worked everyday...and then without warning she had a seazer...She didn't tell anyone at work and still when to work...Then the Doc. told her she could not drive for at least 6 weeks. During this time, my Boss went and ran her route...I thougt that was being really a good boss to be there for her..but, then I was told if any orders got called in with her name on them, to take it off and put the bosses name on them...and then I found out today, They sent her a paper to sign, relinkishing her postion....She is now trying to get Disablity and my boss has not even called to check on her or see how she was doing sence he sent this letter.....It makes me feel like what good is it to be a deadicated worker, when your boss could care less for you or the sacrafice you put into your job to make him the big buck...She has worked for him for over 8 years..and this is the kind of help she gets from work she put in for him....It really makes me look at my employer in a whole different light..and not a good one eather....I just hope and pray that God takes care of her and her family...

As unfair as it may seem, that's the way it goes. It doesn't matter how good of a worker you are...as soon as something goes wrong, you are gone. I've seen it happen over and over again. Several years ago, I got a serious illness, and had to go on a medical leave. After 12 weeks, the leave ran out and I was terminated. Just like that. Didn't matter that I was an exemplary employee for almost 9 years. The fact is, I could no longer do my job, and I was gone. Fair? No. The way it is? Yep.

When I went to work here....I never thought this person (my boss) was a person of greed and unfairness....but, I guess it take something like this to open a persons eye, that his employees mean nothing..
