My favorite is the cleaver because its heavy and sharp. I find it easier to control than the light weight ones. I use it in chopping, slicing, dicing, and cutting through bones, meat, and veggies. I like the look of it too, it looks cool just like the Notorious MSG.

I have RA and have really fought hard to find good knives without spending a fortune. I have 2 large very sharp knives for big jobs and 2 paring knives for daily use. The others are there for misc. jobs my husband does.

I am constantly frustrated with my rubbish kitchen knives. I always find that the most useful knife to have is a good quality paring knife, as it can be used for so many things. sadly I do not have a good quality paring knife. I'm so fed up of rubbish knives that I fully intend to invest in really good knives. knives so good that I won't even be able to buy a set. I intend to buy one at a time, spending a good £40 or so on each one. so that eventually I'll have a good set of really good knives that will make my cooking and food prep a much more enjoyable experience.
