I love shopping. I think most people love shopping, Especially when I was younger, I always go shopping whenever i had a chance. Now that I have my own family, I still love shopping but not as much.. Including dining out, it would usually take me maybe around 6 hours or more. If I'm with my family, I really don't care about the time, As long as everybody is happy. how about you? How long does it take for you to shop?

I can spend all my times in shopping malls, especially when there are lots of things to see. I would just do window shopping and I also enjoy fitting clothes and finding the right accessories for me. I enjoy buying stuffs from my room, even though shopping would cause my legs to ache.

When I was younger I hated shopping, especially for clothes. I hated shopping for clothes because they never seemed to fit me properly. I was very tall for a woman and most pants in the stores were too short for me. I had to shop at specialty stores like Tall Girls for my pants and I had to pay a small fortune for them. For a pair of sweats, for example, that were $10 at Walmart, I had to pay up to $100 at Tall Girls, just to get them long enough. Now I have gone through menopause I have shrunk by 4 inches in height and I'm not too tall to buy my pants at cheap stores like Walmart. I get to buy those $10 sweats now as they are long enough on me now. I have also lost 60 pounds so clothes fit me better and I only wear a size 9 so it is a common size and I have lots to choose from. So I love to shop now and go shopping at least twice a week. I buy myself lots of cheaper clothes now. And when it comes to shopping for food, I love it now also as I am a very healthy eater now and I find it a challenge. Shopping is also a good form of exercise. When it is really cold outside I will go to a mall to shop and I will walk a lot. If it is really nice outside I will go downtown and walk along the streets and go into the stores and browse. So the walking is good exercise and it's good for the mind as well. Have a good day, your friend Chris

Hi, ivygrey. I wished that I could go shopping with you. I would love to go shopping where time is never an issue. When me and my husband goes shopping he does not like to be in an store for more than an hour. When I go, I will be in the store for at least an hour and a half. I like to take my time to shop and find what I need. I don't like to be rushed either. I want to make sure that I don't spend too much of money buying this and that. When I am shopping for clothes, it may take me two to three hours, especially if I have to try them on.

I don't love shopping too much! .. So I tend to know exactly what I want, get into town early in the morning, buy whatever it is, and get out of there before the crowds start filling the stores and blocking aisles. I have known myself to get from the car into a store, get what I want and back to the car all within 10 minutes. That's the way I like it! _Derek

Hi, I love shopping. During my single life, I can shop for almost a day. from morning till night time. Of course,in between, I will have a cup of coffee in a cafe with my friends. I really enjoy my single life and miss it too. Now, I am married and not much freedom and I seldom out for shopping. The most is grocery shopping in the morning 3-4times a week for about one hour. I seldom shop for clothes nowadays. I just can't find the right time to go shopping now and with my son around, I don't think I can enjoy shopping too. When I go out for shopping, I prefer to go alone rather than tagging with my husband and son. Or else, I might end up chasing my son around in the department store and I can't even shop for free.

I hate to shop! I will have things mailed here and pay shipping just so I don't have to shop. I have difficulty walking and even though the grocery store that I go to is small, it still took me at least 2 hours. That's just getting what I needed and not looking at anything else. Now that store has an electric cart so it cuts the time in half. I still hate it though!

I don't shop often. But if I'm shopping, I had to make sure that I have that list with me so I will not exceed my budget. When I shop with my daughter, it will take a longer time because it's always hard for her to reach a decision on what to buy; that's why she loves to tag me along with her since I am the one who'll stop her from buying certain things that are not important.

If I go shopping, it usually takes me around at least 6 hours to finish my shopping. I am not an impulse buyer. If I shop for clothes or shoes for instance, what I do is go around to every store first and look at all the available clothes and shoes before I decide which one to buy which can give me the best value for my money.

It depends who i go with. If i go with my sister it will take 6 hours. If i got alone it will take 3 hours. If i go with my mum it will take 30 mins because she can't wait to get out as soon as we get in.

I hate shopping. I only go when it's absolutely needed or has some overarching purpose, such as I need to buy a gift or get some work thing like paper or ink. Otherwise it's like pulling teeth to get me into a mall.

hi ivygrey I also love shopping but here we go in sixes in the Gold Crest van so we only have maybe an hour and a half but I find with my bad leg this is enough for me. I can get the snacks and hard candy I must keep as a diabetic so if I go low I have something to bring me up to normal.I really can do quite a bit of shopping in that time too.when I was younger I used to take a lot of time to try on clothes, h ere I am not given that option.

When i was younger i used to love going into all the shops there were in our area, aswell as getting on trains and going to other areas to shop.Nowadays i do alot of my shopping on the internet,as i can not drive at the moment aswell as get around on my own.I can spend hours on the internet looking and at the end of it 4 or 5 hours later not buy anything.

That depends on where I'm at. If it's Wal-Mart's then you're talking at least an hour or two, depending if I'm going in there with a list in my head of stuff that I need and not want to stay in that place too long. Any place else outside of Wal-Mart, I would definitely spend more time there.

Hello Ivygrey. It depends what I'm shopping for, if it's groceries I do it as quick as I can lol. Clothes shopping is another matter, I can spend all day looking in clothes shops and trying stuff on, especially shoes and jeans. My golden rule is never let anyone rush you when you're clothes shopping, take all day if you want to. A perfect Saturday for me is a trip to the shops followed by a meal and a couple of drinks :)
