Although our goverment spends a lots of money on the constructions of roads every year, the situation of the traffic is still not improved obviously. Especially, during the rush hours, if you are stuck in a traffic jam. There is nothing you can do except for waiting. So it's a big problem for those office workers. How do you usually go to office? What's the situation about the traffic in your country? If you meet such a terrible situation, what would you do?

Hello sirzhang, Nothing can be done if you caught in traffic jam but to wait. Here in this place there are lots of flyovers and under-paths were made to avoid the traffic problems but it seems the problem increasing day by day. People are using own vehicle most the time, means the number of vehicles in the road increased tremendously. What I felt on the heavy traffic even after constructing many flyovers is, people have a tendency to change the lane often and it can prevent the smooth running of vehicle. In some cities the lane changing is strictly prohibited, if anybody tried to change they will get fine. In this city the traffic personnel are not checking this violation of Law. In rainy season water logging leading to heavy traffic block.

Yes, The problems what you mentioned are indeed common in most cities. More and more people tend to use their own cars especially in developing countries. With the growing of vehicle ownership, some new situations are turning up. Urban traffic problem refers to many items. It's a huge systematic project. Only each part runs harmoniously, traffic problem can be relieved in some way.

Since I am just 15 minutes away from the office, I usually ride a jeepney (for five minutes) and do a 10 minute walk. Though the average travel for the jeepney is five minutes it would sometimes take 20 minutes because of the congested flow of traffice. I think there is too much vehicles in my country and with that it adds to traffic.

Sure, indeed. In contrast, you are so lucky because it only takes you 15 minutes to go to your office. Most of people have to get up ahead of much time.
