Playing Hooky

If you haven't done it, I'm sure you thought about it: playing hooky. Lately, things have been very stressful from every point in my life: work, friends, family, my relationship. My nerves had been rubbed raw. I was thinking about just playing hooky today, but I didn't. But I thought about it. I would have loved going to the nearest park and enjoyed the sunny day. What about you? Have you ever played hooky? What did you do? If you haven't, what would you like to do if you ever played hooky?

I used to ditch school in my senior year but never to the point where it affected me on whether I would graduate or not. I think everyone needs a day off every now and then. If you are stressed out, have no tests being done that day, or missing an important event, then go for it. My dad worked mostly everyday at his job. I think it showed his commitment to work but at the same time...they never appreciated it. He lost his sick days, vacation, thinking that it would show responsibility but he missed alot of important times in life too.

That's a good point. You can work too much, wearing yourself thin and for nothing, Thanks for responding.

I constantly played hooky in high school. Guess that's why I never graduated. It felt good then, but I certainly regret it now.
