Star over your username!

Hi guys i just noticed one thing here on Mylot. There is a star on every ones username. And like my username is alamsher007 you will se star over it. The star has a number in it and on every usernames it has different colours. Some have green, some have a blue etc.
I just wanted to ask that what does the colour and the number inside the star represent?
And one more thing could you tell me the coloyr of my star and the number inside it as you can only see others stars not your star!

Hello there! You don't actually have a star by your username yet. Not everyone has one. You have to hit 100 posts before you hit your star rating. The number represents your reputation on mylot. Its based on how people rate you. The + and - signs are how you rate people's posts and that will affect the number of star they get. The more + ratings you get, the higher number star you will have.
The colors don't mean anything. Each number just has a different color that goes with it. Example) 7 is white.

Haha. It could also pass as grey.. I think silver sounds better though, so I'll go with that.

hello there,once you reach 100 posts you'll have your star next to your username.
then the numbers within it means your rating here in mylot.that's the reputation star,my friend!
we all are rated by other users here every post we make,there you can see the plus,minus and exclamation mark at the end of every posts.that's where we all got our ratings.
you can see your rating once you move your cursor above your star or other's star.the higher number,the better you reputation here.
so keep it up and enjoy yourself here!
by the way,you can use those emoticons when you reach 200 posts.then we can comment and respond how many discussions we like.but no matter how many our posts,in a a single discussion,we only got 2 number of posts there.the number next to your username says it all.your activity.so it does not mean when you got 1000 posts,you already have 1000 dollar.

the star and number over your user name is the actual rank that you have in Mylot, this usually upgrades or downgrades every after 100 points.. nobody really knows the formula for this except the admins of course.. the higher the number the more seasoned mylotter you are.. you make better ranks with good discussion posts and good replies.

and it could go up and down daily regardless of whether you have extra 100 numbers or not. It depends entirely on the ratings that you receive for your posts.

we can achieve ratings from other members here on every post we got.
you see the plus sign,minus and exclamation? that's how we all rate our fellow lotters here.you can't rate yourself.
the color i think has nothing to do with it,but the number of each star you got means something else.we have to gain higher stars to make our reputation higher.some says that if we do gained 100/100 we earn gradually here,i'm not sure about it though.
here's the legend for you:
10 blue star - 95.5 - 100
9 red star - 85.5 - 95.5
8 yellow star - 75.5 - 85.5
7 silver star - 65.5 - 75.5
and the rest follows.
i don't memorize the colors of the lower stars,it's up to you to compute for them.

You will see your star after you reach number 100 behind your username. You can earn numbers for posting, responding, commenting one number for each field. The stars is 10 and the highest is star 10. Your star also would be important in earnings too. Good luck with your star. Take care, Have a nice day!
