MOther knows best. That is very famous saying ever since. I do believe that mother knows best. In fact, I consider my mom as my superego and she's the best person I have in life. She's my bestfriend and the most important person in my life. SHe knows what exactly to do when I have problems. She's always there to listen and makes me feel better. She knows how to help me make a decision in life and always there in my ups and downs. How about you?

I definitely agree! Mom seldom imposes things upon me. She lets me make my own decisions. But when she speaks, I listen and follow her because I know that she only wants what's best for me, and she's always right. In my almost 27 years of existence, there was never a time when Mom decided for me and things went wrong. My mom is a superwoman. =)

Yes, 'MOTHER' is the bestest thing that ever happened in a child's life. She knows what other people don't know, she doesn't need words to express her love to her children, silent is equal to speak. She is the only door opened to us even when the people turn their back to us and even in her scolds there is love hidden inside, you know there is always a soft side to her.

Fortunately you had a good mother, So did I, but some people do not...so I dont think this is ALWAYS the case, which is sad. I wish it were 100% true all of the time, but I know some people that their mom DEFINITELY does not know best...lol

I agree that mother of great insight influences a lot. My mother, young as she is, knows better than me in many aspects. But on the other hand, mother is not always right. Take my mother as an example, she is not a genius in everything. Undoubtedly, she loves me most and unconditionally, however, this is not equal to her faultless. For instance, she stuffs me every time when I go back home. From the bottom of my heart, I'm aware of her love and affections no better. But as you know, overeating is no better than diet. I love my mother. She is a woman of great wisdom and compassion. She devoted her whole life to raising and educating me, which deprives her of her time to care about herself. Due to social changes and differences in time, we will have different ideas and attitudes on one topic, whereas sometimes my opinion is what the majority of the society requires. She loves me but she is not always right about everything.
