Can you really quit or forget your first love?

First love never dies. it will always linger in your mind whenever you feel alone or some time in your life it will just pop up inside your head and remember those days your first love and you were together.
Even though you are in a relationship now or already married, Do you still think about your fist love? a lot of "what if's" will come to your mind. for me it's really hard to forget. then there comes a comparison between the current and the previous. so there, i could never forget my first love. anyway, i should thank that person because he taught me how to LOVE.

Yes you can really forget your first love. No matter how wonderful or heartache it gives you. You must concentrate on what you have now and be satisfied. Past is past and you can't even bring back those thing anymore. Only im memories probably.

memories remains but not the love in particular for its easy to love but no one stays in love for a longer a period of time when that person is gone.

As aging matures me, I learn to forget the love experience from the 1st till recently. I do admit sometimes my mind recalls those memories back, but they were like carving smiles on my face when realize some stupid stuff happened during the relationships.
Anyway, no point for me to remind myself of the old relationships. I always believe that I have to move forward and doing the best for my future.

You can quit your first love but I don't think you'll ever forget it.
I never dated my first love. We were never in a relationship. I dated some other guys for some time but there will always be sudden instances that I get to think and reminisce about my first love and just linger on the thoughts of "What if".. what if we dated,etc.. Those are just memories. I don't love him anymore but those memories are still memorable in my life that I am thankful for even if it didn't go what I wanted it to be in the past.. but at least I learned to love.

yes i can or should i say i already did.
the second, third, and succeeding 'loves of my life' have been as good if not better than my first!!! lol!
first love is simply overrated... like love. it is nothing more than synapses sending tingling sensations all over one's body and for what??!!!

I don't think you can ever forget your first love. They'll always have a place in your heart somewhere. First loves are important. You learn a lot about relationships, whether the result is good or bad. And you learn from it when you move on to your next relationship.

you can forget your first love, but you cant stop thinking. the more you avoid the more you end up thinking. So its better to concentrate on your present.

yeah. first love still sounds meaningful after so many years. you can quit for it but you'll never forget it. It's a thoughtful moment since it's the first time you learn how to fall in love and how to love someone for the first time. It's some kind of a precious event in life.
