Dogs are considered a lovely and faithful animal in the family.
People living in western countries have a list of most important things in life: woman, flower, dog, then man LOL :D
However, in some eastern countries, dogs are like something bad or dirty :(
Therefore, they are killed and even eaten :(
Has someone tasted dog-meat then???

With all the stuff that already goes into our food here in the U.S. you might have already eaten dog meat and just haven't realized it. I read that in some asian countries you have to pay extra money to have dog meat because it is considered a delicacy. Either way, we might have all eaten dog meat at one point and time and never have known the difference.

I have a classmate back in High school he made us taste his packed lunch so most of us dig in. He said it was his dad who cooked it. So after eating he announced that what we tasted is dog meat to the dismay of everyone who eaten. Later he announced that he was only joking but I asked him secretly if what he said was true and he admitted it was really dog meat but of course I never told anyone.
Here in the Philippines unfortunately some people eat dog meat some even believe its an aphrodisiac but of course its illegal to kill and eat dogs here but we always had issues with law implementation.

I do not know where from youare?Most people do not eat dog meat.But some tribes eat dog meat.There is a small state named Nagaland in India's North-East region.You can see Nagaland in Map.Some tribes of Nagaland eat dog meat.According to them dog meat is delicious and eating dog meat lessen body-ache.Most of the tribes of Nagaland converted to christinity. But still the practice of eating dog meat is perhaps there.I used the word "perhaps", because I heard it long before.

nope never have tasted dog-meat and dont think i ever will, but people from around the world look at what we eat and say the same thing. I mean most of us like cow here in the USA and in some countries its the symble of a god, so im sure there more upset with us eating a cow than a dog.

The thought of eating a dog makes me really sick but it's just differing cultures isn't it? I can understand why some 3rd world countries do it, there isn't enough food to go around so people can eat pretty much anything that will fill their bellies which as fine as long as it keeps them alive. I have a chinese auntie and she has dog every now and then... I asked her if she likes the taste and she said she loves it but because my uncle hates it she only cooks it when he's not home :/

No..I have never eaten dog meat..
and I have even never heard of anything like this...anyone eating or talking about eating dog meat..
Dogs are not those kinds of animals who are to be killed for their meat...
they are considered best friends of man....they have much more uses..other than being eaten..
