Facebook Gamers, do you troll for neighbors?

The only game that I play on facebook is Cafe World and I mentioned to a friend that I needed more neighbors but I already have all of my facebook friends. She asked a friend of hers who sent me a message so I friended her and now she is my neighbor. She also suggested that I go to the Cafe World page and send friend requests to some of the members there. She said that she has around 2000 gaming friends because she plays several games and that's how she gets neighbors. So, earlier I went to Cafe World's page and sent friend requests to a few women who looked "normal"...but I felt like weird about it. One of these women has accepted me as a friend and is a neighbor on my game...but my wall is now sporting several posts from her where she's obviously fighting with someone. She's angry at 5 different people but is very vague about why, although her friends are jumping in left and right to defend her and rag on the person she's mad at. I don't need to read all of this drama, especially when it involves people I don't know so I guess I'll hide her feed. Does anyone else troll for neighbors for your games and have you had any bad experiences with new friends who turned out to be nuts?

i think you are not actively participating in the mylot daily and regularly,but about me i am participating in mylot regularly,recently i have posted one small article about the earning in face book first time and sent some message to one friend,i have not understand what she said,i forgotten what she have said about me,regarding games till now i have not played any game in face book,have a nice day

Hi yugasini. Yes, I participate on mylot every day but I don't start discussions every day. I respond to more discussions than I start.

,i to does not post discussions in my lot regularly,when ever i feel that i am away with my mylot friends,and to show that i am still living i am posting a discussion,just like that i am posting discussions initailly i am posting 3 to 4 discussions daily,but now i am giving responses more than the posting the discussions,have a nice day

I am also playing cafe world but i never get into the point of trolling for neighbors. I have enough facebook friends whom all of them i know. I normally ignored friend request from persons that are strangers to me. This is for the reason that you mentioned. I don't like reading comments from people whom i don't know. I just don't understand why they like to fight and drag this in public. Thats very unethical!

I agree, it is very unethical. My group has issues from time to time but they're either handled over the phone or in email.

Never seen the point in begging for friends on Facebook just so they can help you play games.
I do enjoy playing the games, like Zoo World, Farmville etc but if I cant do them myself without having to ask starangers for help, then whats the point.
I know plenty people who enjoy adding random friends who are playing the same games as them just to advance in the levels of the games, so it does happen.
Each to there own I guess.

Thanks for the response. I don't need neighbors to level up but to expand...but I'm thinking that my friend's suggestion was not such a great one. She said that she's made a bunch of new friends but I'm not really interested in that. Got too many friends and family on there now.

hi spalladino thats another of the reasons I am not on facebook
as I hate all that drama with people being do wn on someone and
others pitching in. we have had enough of that right here in
mylot but here it can be stopped by mylot admins. there it seens
nobody stops anyone from doing or s aying whatever the hell they
want to no matter how awful.

I haven't seen too many fights on facebook but, then again, I have mostly family and some friends as my facebook friends and we all get along. I don't like a lot of drama either.

I used to do that a game that I don't play anymore. I just posted in one of those add me threads and got a lot of people that way. But now, I have enough friends playing lots of different games, so whatever new game I try, I can just send invites to the people already on my list. :3
I did get a few weird people on my lists, but hiding/unfriending them is easy.

This girl seems to have calmed down now so maybe I won't have to hide or unfriend her. I will if she's nothing but drama.

i used to play mafia wars and i did add people who play the same game, one gamer just start posting really racist remarks and of course attracts lots of comments which floods my wall so i have to remove him from my list but someone also said that his account was probably hacked.
But 2000 is a lot i didn't even get to 1000 friends

Yes, that is a lot of friends! I don't have nearly that many and don't plan to. Two other women accepted my request and are now my neighbors on cafe world. One is very busy all day it seems...sending gifts and posting offers of for free dishes and things.

I did that once, playing Castle Age in facebook. But then my "army" grew bigger and I was annoyed by all the news feeds that broadcasted everything, from what they ate for breakfast, and what their kids are doing, blah blah. And I don't even know half of those people! I had to purge all of them from my Friends list and i quit playing Castle Age. Now, I just play facebook games with my real friends.

I don't play any of the games on facebook, nor any networks for that matter. I can see if into the games, just making friends that are also interested in such, but I wouldn't want all that woman's drama either! I utilize facebook to keep in touch with friends and share writing and other things for discussion.
