Does a person's rating effect whether or not you read or answer someones discussion? Or do you go solely by topic, or whether you have anything interesting to say? Just curious.

here were several posts talking about mylot rating, Why don't you read about them?

Oh you are rude, though now I understand what the question is. Member's rating will not influence my decision in responding nor in commenting a discussion. Will that satisfy you, too Mykl_J?

Yeah Mykl_J... I do think that you're so rude...

No it doesn't. What prompts me to respond is whether I know something about the topic at hand and whether I can contribute anything to the discussion or not.

I don't care about the ratings. If I'm interested in the topic then I respond and share my opinion. Those people had experience this stage, too. They once had to prove themselves and eventually created a good name here at Mylot.

I usually don't even look at a persons rating. I look at the topic and see if I think I have anything useful to add. Or if it just seems like somthing fun that I have a comment on. I have only been doing this for a few weeks but am really enjoying it.
