Pranks

I guess a lot of us have either pulled a prank on someone, or had a prank pulled on us. This past Friday I was blessed to be able to spend some time with all of my aunts, my dad's sisters. I started asking a lot of questions about when they were growing up, because the family is so huge, getting one on one time with my aunts is rare.
I brought up the time my Aunt Lana and Aunt Joyce were locked in the outhouse. My Uncle David had locked them in the outhouse one summer (my dad was not yet born). And if you know an Oklahoma summer, you know it is hot! Well, my Aunt Lana also hates small spaces. She is also the nicest person you'll ever meet. I keep joking to her that she can't possibly be related to all of us. Anyway, as time wore on, no one knew they were locked in the outhouse. My Aunt Lana was 8, my Aunt Joyce 6. Guess how they got out? If you're thinking the worst, you're right. Yep. My Aunt Lana crawled through the hole. The hole where everyone went to the bathroom. The potty. When she came up through the other side, she unlocked the door and let my Aunt Joyce out. They only found out 25 years later it was my Uncle David when he admitted it at a family reunion. They all laugh about it now.
If it had been me, even 25 years later I would have gotten some payback! lol But they all laughed it off. Amazing. So, pranks...

Fancy having to go through a toilet in order to get out! I definitely would have got my own back for sure! They were talking about pranks on the radio this morning and they were asking people to call in with pranks they’ve set up, been a victim of or witnessed. Some were downright dangerous a funny one was an office one where the boss changed all the keys on his assistant’s computer keyboard! Don’t mind when they’re harmless like that one, not so sure being locked in an outhouse is so harmless!

My most recent prank I pulled on anyone was one of the gals at work who has a really good sense of humor I might add....brings a insulated lunch bag with her soda etc in it.....well a few years before someone had left a beanie baby rat in a trap on my desk....so I kept it a few years and one day I had someone distract her and I put the beanie baby rat in her lunch bag so when she opened it it was looking at her......blood curdling scream.....that's the only way I can describe it. I am still waiting for her to get me back! Oh No!

hi AmbiePam its been about four and a half years since I was forcibly
retired because a second in command just plain did not like an elderly woman working in what she felt was her library and the first let her push her into letting me go on my age. well later they were both fired. but on my last day my friends and fellow workers who did not know I had not quit on my own kept me from going back to the staff room till ten past my noon break. so when I got free I walked back to have my last lunch break there ever.there on the table was a virtual feast all for me for my last lunch there so I had a nice send off party with gifts of money coming to four hundred dollars. I had been there 23 years. A week later I was called up by head quarters that I was reinstated and the head librarian and her second were both fired.but alas I could not go back at all as I was in the hospital with a smashed shoulder that necessitated a shoulder joint replacement, thus ending any chance of my working where I needed to use my left arm at all.Sadly I never got all the range of motion in my left arm back.

Hi Amber! That sounds kina mean to me! How awful for your poor
Aunt to have to climb down that disgusting hole! I don't think
I would be laughing even 25 years later, or maybe? I am not a
prankster and have never really had any pranks pulled on me, at
least none that I can remember! I was never very good with jokes
or stuff like that! I was too mean!

I have a family filled with pranksters. My son is the worst of them all. What he can't think of! My father-in-law is also very adept at pranking. My son usually gives himself away with a laugh. My father-in-law can carry it off with a smirk or a smile. You have to be careful who you turn your back on. You just might be the next prank victim! @mtdewgurl74 (18151)

Oh no, I don't know if I would be so forgiving if I had to wade through a toiler hole of a outhouse..I think the prank my stepdad pulled on us was mean..because we were 7-8 and he told us to take a stick and knock down a hornets nest knowing what would happen..when we didn't...we ran..but still we ended up getting stung alot.

They laughed it off, but that doesn't mean that they won't find a way to get even. I am sure it is in the back of their mind. My dad and his brothers are always talking about the time they were playing outside and decided to put my dad on the cross like Jesus. They laid it down and hooked him on it, and then stood it up. You got it, they could not get him down and he hung there for about 2 hours until his mom got home.
