how do you slim down?

to see most of the people getting chubbier and chubbier each day is depressing. do you guys have anything to share to slim down? what are they?

badminton!!! lol hello hushi, i only watch what i eat: fruit fruit fruit, fish fish fish, oatmeal--as long as i minimize my carb. plus, i have recently just made it a point to be active always, so i play badminton or even just frisbee. :) and if that's you in the picture, i don't think you need to 'slim down' at all. ^_^ happy mylotting

When I try to lose weight I can't but when I don't try I lose weight. Right now I am ok with my weight. I lost 10 lbs recently just running around with the kids.

I gain weight whenever I sit at home and do nothing for long time..like in my vacations etc. But again I get slim when my regular schedule for college starts. So i dont do much about it. Just I take care that I am not consuming much fats in college canteen. ;)

I exercise. I have been maintaing a time to go to bed and wake up. i also follow rigorous exercise. and being a marketing person i travel a lot and that how i remain slim.

I thing best way ti slim is to have control over your diet. Take the diet with low amount of fats and simple carbohydrates.Add animal proteins more than that of plant. Do little bit of exercises thats will make you slim..

When I feel that I need to get down my weight, I start to eat vegetables and fruits more then anything else. Also I do more exercises - running in the evenings, go in long walks. I have tried many dietetic pills but all of them is only waisting of your time. Also I have on experience in my life, that I lost ten kilograms in ten days, when I was eating only once per day (pancakes) and drinking 200-500grams vodka. And of course lot of activities - walking, dancing etc.

I am too lazy when it comes to gym or exercise. I was really chubby last 2 months ago,as a result of a very relaxing and enjoying summer vacation. Now, i am losing some weight again. I just lessen my food intake,less rice and more fruits diet. I also do some house exercise,but very rare,maybe just some minutes of walking up and down the stairs for 15 minutes until i sweat off. Avoid fatty foods and avoid snacks in between meals.

Hai mylotter, first of all should stop to have too much junk foods proper diet is the first step to slim down.To have a proper diet you should do some research on the foods and their effects in body because they are direct source which we have.if corbohydrate,protein, fat, vitamins are in equal proportion then there is nothing to worry about your structure of the body. And the second is Exercise most of the people advocate exercise is plays vital role in slim down the body as it burns off all excess fat content of the body if you practice yoga then there is no word to say.

I usually do not believe in slimming down o honestly speaking my hubby likes me chubbier the only exercise that I get during the day is playing with my neighbours pet who is quite mischievious and makes me run up and down and yes occasionally I take him for walks.

I cut out carbs from my diet: sugar, flour, wheat, potatoes, rice and all that stuff. It really works, and fast! So for me, that has been the way I do it whenever I feel the need to for years.

Possible ways to slim down are, 1. Split your Meals, instead of eating 3 to 4 times a day split it to 6 or 7 (the quantity should be the same only the times increase don't ever increase the quantity) 2. Walk/Jog wherever possible 3. Sleep Well (not more than 7 or 8 hrs, there is myth that sleeping well will cause obesity thats not true one should take at least 7 to 8 hrs rest) 4. Avoid JUNK foods, include more fruits in your meal plan.

Hushu if that is you in your profile picture you look very slim. If you want to try to stay slim you can: Do wake-up workout When your eyes open, sit up slowly without using your hands. With legs straight out, lean forward until you feel a gentle stretch in your back and hamstrings. Hold; then, using your abs, lower yourself flat. Rest and repeat two more times. Strengthens core.
