what kind of parent would do this?

I was amazed to read about the two year old boy who is so addicted to smoking that he smokes about 40 sticks of cigarrette a day,Now we all are aware of the negative effects cigarrettes have on our health so how can a father teach his own child to smoke and eventually become a chain smoker at such a tender age,?i think such a father should be jailed for child abuse and indecency,,If you ask me ,this is definitely not fatherhood
and i recently read also that the kid has reduced the daily cigarrette intake but even then i still think its madness what do you think about this ?

I've not seen any news report on this story, nor the Youtube video mentioned, but I really do find it difficult to swallow that this story would be true. It seems like an urban legend or hoax. The reason for this is that as mentioned if such activity was going on the doctor would be mandated to report such abusive behavior to CPS and this child would have already been removed. Secondly, we know the damage done to lungs via second hand smoke and primary smoke, and we know how delicate a child's body is that this boy would have more then an addiction problem, and very likely wouldn't be out riding around for a youtube video.
I would agree that any parent willingly doing such things to their child should be reprimanded.

What's wrong with this father? It is already bad enough for him to smoke in front of his son and let him to suffer the second hand smoking. Now it is worse that his son is addicted to the smoking. It is so harmful for such a little child. Why this child's mother doesn't do anything to prevent it?

parents who would do this,are maybe those who arenot thinking of the welfare or may be doesnt even love the baby. If they love their baby, would they subject him to harmful substances like nicotine and risk jim for lung cancer or other pulmonary diseases

I definitely agree with you. How can a father teach that child at young age it is so annoying and I feel worst not only for the father of that child. My God a father should try to pay attention to inoffensive manner of the child and I can see how is he becoming.I think we should ask someone to do something about it or someone that works as social worker to correct that manner that's the least we should do.

The father is too irresponsible. I really feel sad for the kid to have a so parent.
When I see the online video,I think even that terror. The posture of the kid to smoking is so masterly.If you have a baby, you have to be in charge of him(her) when he(she) can't undertake anything. This is my principle for one parent.

I know i saw it on the news and it was really hearting i thought that it was so crude in knowing all the disadvantages of smoking and not doing anything to stop it ! That little boy's help will be at stake if they continue to let him smoke!!!!!!!! Wow i have know of kids that are obsessed with toys and sweets but smoking thats just low class and sick!

I had saw it a few months ago about that Indonesian boy, two years of age but already hooked on smoking. The parents seems to be ignorant about the habit of their boy. The parents should be reprimanded for failing to stop that early bad habit.

it is shocking. i can't imagine how this could happen .i suspect the father of the boy has something wrong with his mind .A mental check is needed for him.any other fathers could do such shocking thing.
