I know right? My mom has facebook and it's just like giving parents a new way to spy and snoop around. I always have to think about what I'm gonna post because my mom could see it. Sometimes just thinking about it makes me to not post anything at all. But if I delete her, maybe she'll get mad or suspicious so I'm not going to. Just less freedom for me on facebook. HAHA

Everybody has the right to use Facebook young not minor, old, man, women, i don't understand why we have to hide something in Facebook,it is a public site and we are bounds by its rules and terms.it is a social site,to meet friends, to meet long lost friends, classmates, old relatives who are far from us, it's a communication site too...i used facebook to communicate with my parents, yes they are a registered Fb user...if you want to hide something better look for a site that does that..thanks!

galactuschad, Facebook is a social networking site and as such is for the purpose of networking with our real time social circles which include friends, schoolmates, classmates, co-workers or family members. While it is your choice to do whatever you want and who you want to be in your Facebook account. But,I have to say that excluding your dad is really odd to me as I just find it the best media to keep my dad updated of my well being. To me, it is not crazy but odd, here.

Hi, galactuschad. Wow!! That is a little crazy.. Lol.. I hope that your father won't get mad at the fact that you have deleted him. If you don't add him as a friend, then he will not be able to view your photos, walls and etc;. You will have to choose whom you want to view your photos. I am under another name under Facebook. It will take some time for someone to find me on here. I don't use my real name. I guess you don't want your dad to see the photos that the chicks have uploaded of you on Facebook.. You must have something to hide, eh??

My Dad does not have a facebook and if ever he will be having one then I will be the one that will control and open it since he is not into computer. Even his email address I am the one who is reading and opening it and I made the password for him. And with my Mom I was the one who registered for her and I have nothing to do but just to add for those people who has friend's request for her. I just set the privacy settings where in my Mom can't see my wall post so that if ever I have post that sounds strange for her then she won't see it.

I guess your dad is just curious since I know that it's his own generation to have a facebook, probably your right that maybe he just wanted to add some more people on his own account. Removing him as one of your friend us not a good idea, your just giving him an idea that you are hiding something from him. But anyways, if you are not comfortable being his friend in facebook then removing him is a good idea I guess.

My dad signed up the Facebook, but he is not active there. I also seldom login it because I am not very interested in it. Although you removed your dad from your Facebook list, but perhaps later he will sign up a new account as a stranger and then add you:) I love China

Hi, I am very sure my parents don't have a facebook account. Because my parents don't even know how to use the computer,so impossible for them to have a facebook account. My parents never touch computer before.m My dad is so busy with his own business, while my mom is a full-time housewife. I do have some friends whose their moms have a faceboook account and even will chat with her daughter online. So advanced!!

Before seeing your pictures which uploaded by your chicks, you removed your dad. I think something laughable picture should be inside your profile otherwise you won't do that. Is it true?

No. My parents don't have FB. But as a parent myself, we created an account for our child who is 7 years old. No wonder when time will come he will create an account of his own and will not add us in his circle of friends..lol

NO MY MOM DOES NOT HAVE FACEBOOK AND IM GLAD LOL! i AGREE PARENTS AND FACEBOOK DNT MATCH IT MML(MAKE ME LAUGH)TO SEE PARENTS ON FACEBOOK LEAVING COMMENTS ON THERE CHILDRENS PAGE IT'S LIKE YOU CAN'T EVEN HAVE YOUR OWN PRIVACY EVEN ON THE COMPUTER. YOU THEN HAVE TO WATCH WHAT YOU SAY. ITS LIKE GOING TO THE CLUB WITH YOUR PARENTS, JUST NOT RIGHT

.. That is not crazy at all coz i see you are trying to hide a few things. .. My parents don't know how to use social networking sites and it's of no yield to them anyway, if i had my Dad added, i have no reasons to hide anything.

My parents have face book and I think it is great. I keep in touch with them this way and they send me things. I put pics on there and when I get by business started I will put my link on there as well.

My dad has a facebook account, but he has not made any move to add me. And I'm not gonna go out of my way to add him either. Not that I have anything to hide. I just don't feel like I need to update him on what's going on in my life. We have cellphones for that. LOL
