Do you have a special connection or remembrance with a song? I do have one with Macarena, back when I was 2 or 3 years old every afternoon Macarena was played on the radio when the pre-school bus drove me back home. I can still remember it quite vividly. Also once when I behaved like a scoundrel the driver told me to sit on the ground, well after that I started behaving polite forever xD

LOL. Macarena. HEY! Macarena! I do have special remembrance to many many songs... But nothing like that! Especially nothing I can remember when I was 2-3 y.o. I think Ice, Ice, Baby, like the other poster, is the furthest back song that I can remember. Oh and M.C. Hammer. Hammer Time! I remembered watching his concert. OMG, that is totally freaky. 2 legit 2 quit!

Hi, diamania. Yes, I do have a special connection with a song. It is called, Two Hearts, by Phil Collins. Every time that it was time for us to get up and exercise in class for the mornings, the teacher turned this song on on the radio. We all would exercise to this song too. It was so fun to listen to this song every morning. It perked us up for the day for class. We listened to this song in elementary school. I will never forget this song.

Phil Collins yummy, I do have a really bad experience with his music and my music lesson. I had to play his song on an instrument I can't recall the name off and I failed miserably, it was Phil Collins - another day in paradise. At that time it was another day in hell. @almairah: Really beautiful ( and a bit sad too) to hear what a meaning music can have for someone.

Yes, Yes! The song 'Circle in the Sand' automatically transport me back to my college life once it is played on radio. It brought me back to memory lane. The song 'Jungle Boy' reminds me of sitting in the school bus - a long journey from home to school! I think the song 'Wavin Flag' by K'Naan will always bring me back to FIFA World Cup South Africa. I listened to it so many time during the three weeks of FIFA World Cup. You are absolutely right! I love 'Macarena' too! It is so reviving and fun!

Good Day diamania, There is one song that became my favorite when our baby was born premature. I got a lot problems during that time, specially with financial. I almost give up because I got a lot of things to think of, specially the condition of my wife and our baby. But one time when I visited the nursery, I see our baby smiled at me and that very moment all of my problems disappeared.

Well, I have one favorite song. I almost know every lyric of it... But what I remember from my childhood that really got me dancing was Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby" lol, we even wore fancy jeans before dancing to it...

I have several and many different genres I can vividly relate to. But ultimately Spanish music is my ultimate favorite. I could be going through crap left and right and well I put on my head phones to my Spanish music and life is completely unimportant for the moment. LOL

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Best song ever. Especially because of the headbang solo :D

When I am felling blue, I grab for a piece of chocolate to make me feel better. Every time I grab that piece of chocolate when I am blue, it reminds me of 'The Candy Man'. Who can take the sunrise and sprinkle it with dew Cover it with choc'late and a miracle or two The Candy Man Can, Oh the Candy Man Can The Candy Man Can 'cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good Who can take a rainbow and wrap it in a sigh Soak it in the sun and make a groovy lemon pie The Candy Man Can, Oh the Candy Man Can The Candy Man Can 'cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good The Candy Man makes everything he bakes satisfying and delicious Now you talk about your childhood wishes, you can even eat the dishes Oh, who can take a tomorrow, dip it in a dream Separate the sorrow and collect up all he ice cream The Candy Man Can, the Candy Man Can

well there is one song that really catches my attention but it has nothing to do with anything about my memory in any time of my life i just feel very curious about it. it's "Vincent" i feel very much curious about the lyrics of the song and it made me search about the details of it in the net. also my friends are clueless about the song and begun to be amazed by it.. i don't know but i really am curious about it, i wish i could know more about the writer of the song. ^^

Well...for my age..I must admit that the song "hey you" by Pink Floyd really got my attention...it's really surprising when you love a song that depicts having nothing and when you have everything and would really "die" for the song when you have finally nothing...go figure it out...
