Fabregas is the heartbeat of the team. When he is on form, so does Arsenal. Towards the tail-end of last season when he is out with an injury, the team has problems breaking down opposition. So you can see the importance he is to the team. But, that is the problem as well. Mark him out, and you take Arsenal out. It used to be Henry and now it is Cesc.

Cesc Fabregas is definitely the central force in this Arsenal team. I think he drives the team forward and his creativity and finishing gives the team a cutting edge. I think despite pressure from Barca he will stay at the Emirates for one more year. After that next year he will move on. That would provide Wenger with ample time to find a suitable replacement for him. Cheers! Ram
