What type of boat should I buy?

I am looking to purchase a boat. This will be my first boat. I am wondering should I buy an aluminum boat or a fiberglass boat? I will be using the boat lakes.

I would get a fiberglass, being your first boat I would not go very big. Until you learn about them. Motors can be expensive to repair if you don't know how. You can always learn.
