what are the FUN things that you do in the CALL CENTER

Taking calls for 7.5 hours sitting down and drain your brains out from difficult problems of the customers can really be exhausting! you do this 40 hours per week! Aside from the exhaustion, there is always PRESSURE! your supervisor would always tell you that your Average Handling Time is getting high again because it should always be Low. aside from all of these there are lots of things that makes you quit your job. Tell me all your thoughts that would make you stay in this kind of job for those people who are in the brink of QUITTING. please state the FUN things that you have working in a CALL CENTER. I would like to share that i always look forward to Team Buildings wherein we always take out of town trips with lots of drinking sessions at least once a month. My friends and seatmates who always share how they say stupid things to the customers but not mistreat them of course. each day we have some things to discuss that make us laugh at it. then after break times, we always ready ourselves to take calls with a smile.

We have committees in my call center that plan special things for everyone. From food days to dress up days. We have a lot of fun.

Hi, I agreed with you, working in a call centre is not easy,very stressful. I was in call centre for 3 years and I experienced different kind of situation everyday.Liase and talk with different level of people and sometimes I will think of Quitting from this stressful job. But think of the pay I am getting and the benefit I am having, I stopped to QUIT words from my mind and carry on with my work. No matter how stress is the job, there is always the fun part. I love the time whereby we whole team our for dinner or some simple gathering. It is so much fun to hang around with my team mates and they are definitely a good buddies for me.We share our stories while working and etc. Throughout the day, I picked up lot of calls and some customer might be nasty, some might be very nice person and some might be bit funny.So whenever I encounter any funny customer, i will share my story with my friend.Even if I was encountered those nasty customer, I will share my bad luck day with my team mates too. The most I scared is to handle Platinum credit card holder.They are pretty demanding customers and want the things to get done straight. Not easy!!! However, I really enjoyed my past working life and hope can go back to the call centre job in future.
