How was your first computer lesson?

We were discussing to have a basic computer literacy for all staff who wants to learn. We cannot deny the facts that we still have personnel that are not well equipped with computer knowledge. Out of the blue one staff who have been for a long time remember their first computer lesson long ago share her experience that time. One of her classmate type the word "ENTER" when their instructor said "PRESS ENTER!".

Well it's always a memorable day.. First time we enter in computer lab.. it was with black screen of DOS and we were amazed that how computer knows today's date and time with date and time commands :-)
Funniest thing was when we went to teach people in villages.. when one of our colleague introduced keyboard, mouse and monitor and said take your mouse on File menu appeared on screen.. one old person hold up mouse in hand and moving on screen physically :-)

LMAO! lovedude thats funny but we cannot blame them. everybody have its first time. It is better if the instruction goes something like this "When you move your mouse, an arrow called a cursor moves on the screen. Take your cursor on the file menu". Great sharing lovedude. Cheers!

LOL! he might have been thinking that his students can easily digest all that have been taught. Forgeting the old ones are not that easy since they dont have it in their early days.

It is quite funny. When I study basic course, tutor tough us the name of hard wares. He told catch your mouse, "mouse" how can I catch? there is no mouse in this room, it might be living in the holes I asked him. Ah ha ha ha... this is known as mouse he showed me. I was too embarrassed but class burst out to laugh.

My first computer knowledge was very interesting.like it was my basis knowledge.I was very slow in typing but day by day I improved a lot in my typings.I also landed in one of the funny mistake that I had done. Instructor told me to repair the system by using Window CD but I formated the whole system.
