Will SureshRaina be a success in test cricket,he got an amazing record on debut?

suresh raina is a young talent and future legend of indian cricket. he is the next captain to dhoni. so its better for the team management to keep him on the team for ever. he will surely perform well in indian test team. all the best for his bright career

Normally Raina's temperament suits ODIs and T20s. I like his game style. If he can change that temperament to suit test cricket, he will surely be a good test batsman. We have to observe him for some test matches and then only we can decide on his game.

Isn't it great to create a world record in your first test match. :) Of course, Raina would not have preferred to have this record, but now he has overtake Symonds who played his first test after 94 matches. I think he is a very talented batsmen with a good temperament. Though he is very suspect against short pitch bowling and his real test would come on tracks in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa where the ball will bounce higher!! Cheers! Ram

I'm a great fan of Suresh Raina..He is one of the best youngster we got..He has a great talent..But when it comes to test cricket it is entirely different..Everyone can't be like sehwag,who always plays a test match like T20.....so suresh should have the patience when he is batting..If he want to score quickly then no way he can play good....SO test match is entirely different..I really want him to score good runs in this test series.. Hope he gives his best... Happy mylotting..

Hello, I don't think he can improve in test cricket.He is definitely a talented player.He performs well in odi's and t20's.This is his first match.He has to sure hit a half-century at least to get a place in dhoni' heart.He should do something to impress selectors .I hope he performs well and gets his spot fr a long period.Thanks for starting this discussion about raina.

His temperament is superb as a cricketer , recent innings against Pakistan in Asia cup is an example, he can handle pressure well ,though my personal thinking is Rohit sharma and Virat kohli are more talented, but this guy deserves more.No wonder he got a test cap .He is one for the future definitely.

Dear friend, I do like the way Suren Raina plays, surely he is talented players. Moreover it seems he needs much chances to prove his mental in internation field. He had proved to be well in domestic matches. Moreover it all depends how consists he could in coming matches.

I would like to see Suresh Raina playing in tests more when India is touring SOuth Africa or Australia, then his real talent will come out, how good he is against the short pitch stuff. Until then I am not sure he is complete player but on debut he had scored an hundred and missed out a double hundred on a batting paradise SCC stadium. Whatever, scoring a hundred on debut is something even Sachin Tendulkar also haven't achieved, so, I will say it was great knock. Raina has good support from selectors and lot is expected from him by the selectors as well as captain M S Dhoni. Now all Raina has to do is execute his skills on the big stage that is Test cricket.. I wish him all the best and he is future of India. Hope we don't have to look at failure batsmen like Yuvaraj and Kaif,etc in tests..
