i don't really know much about dog breeds even though we do have a lot of dogs. some of them are pure japanese spitz are some are mixed spitz and poodles. even though they all look different, i love them all the same. breeds don't really matter that much to me.

well one of my favourite "breeds" are Lurchers, which are any sighthound crossed with any other breed. love them, and they come in lots of different sizes and fur types. but they're usually very clever. there's lots of purebreeds I love too. Pomeranian cross husky. how would that work?

I have had both mixed breeds and pure breds. I honestly want a golden retriever, because I think they are one of the gentlest dogs around. I have had a mixed black lab, and he was a great dog...one we picked up from the animal shelter. My parents also got a great dog fro the shelter..so there's nothing wrong with those dogs...I just know that one day I want a golden retriever.

Personally, I love all dogs, pure or mixed. I mean, they're dogs! Their behavior I would worry about much more than their pedigree. But if you get a dog for dog shows, competitions, etc. a pure breed would appeal much more to judges than mixed breeds. I don't see the point of worth when concerning dogs unless you're planning on either selling them or breeding them. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about that.

No racism. I like every kind of dogs. They are all special in their own way, whether they are pure or mixed breed.

Mixed breeds are exclusive and perform well than normal breeds, like mixed breed chicks, they are beautiful and intelligent isn't. Not only in pets life, even in humans life mixed breeds are good.

I love dogs. It doesn't really matter to me if they're pure bred or not. I have a Japanese terrier at home. I also have a shitzu cross breed. I love them both.

I love mutts- mixed breeds- because they seem to always inherit the best of each breed they are mixed with.

I have a pure breed german shepard and its no awlk in the park. They get sick easily you would need to spend more on them. Although they are more, they incur a lot of spending. I don't mind when it comes to mix or pure breeds. Not much difference there unless of course if the person is seriously into breeding dogs as a business. You could make a business out of that, I know a person who makes a lot of money breeding pure breeds and selling them afterwards.

For me, it doesn't matter if it is a pure or mix breed. The most important factor for me is the "fate" with the dog. Wonder if anyone here ever have this experience before. You were looking at the litter of puppies, same color, same breed, almost identical, but there is just this particular pup that you are attracted to.

I like both, it is not an important issue for me. Mixed breeds are usually healthier and have nicer tempers though.

I love all dogs no matter what size and colour they are, no matter what temperament or type of coat they have. But if I have to choose a dog for myself, I'll go for a pure breed dog. That's because there are 10 to 14 years to live with this dog, and I want to know what to expect from her. It's like when you choose a pair of shoes. You buy the shoes you need: a pair of snickers for jogging, some fancy sandals for a night out and so on. The same with dogs. I'm a pretty active person, how could I be happy with a lazy dog? He wouldn't be happy with my life style neither. When you choose a mutt, you can only guess about her size, colour or type of coat, but you can't say much about her temperament. I think this is why so many people abandon their dogs. Dogs are cute as little puppies, but when they grow up, they don't suit their families any more. They become too energetic, or too agressive, or too shy...
