I did believe He has been in this world. I was brought up knowing His name and that He has sacrificed for us. You can read it somewhere in the bible (I used to read the bible before)I just came across to some site. There's one athiest that says "The reality is, there is not one shred of secular evidence there ever was a Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ and Christianity is a modern religion. And Jesus Christ is a compilation from other gods...." I do believe in Jesus Christ existence. How about you?

Like a few others have stated, it is highly unlikely that Jesus was ever a real person. There is literally absolutely zero evidence that he ever existed, yet there is plenty of evidence that he did not exist. However, people have no problem believing in other mythical figures with no proof of existence (ie. god), so I doubt knowing that Jesus never existed would even make a difference for a lot of people.

The search for the historical Jesus is as elusive as the search for the perfect rose. With no documents to substantiate his existence written in his lifetime it becomes necessary to rely on the bible as the best contemporary account of his life. This is problematic because we have no way of knowing who wrote the four gospels where we find the account of his life and teachings. The problem is compounded by the differences in each gospel and the fact there were several gospels left out of today's bible. In the end it comes down to a question of whether you are willing to believe without the evidence you would require to substantiate the existence of any other historical person that would separate them from myth.

On the question that if he really did exist, yes he did. Evidences have been found even if you are not a christian. We can not deny that. Whoever that atheist, he surely doesn't know anything about religon AND history.

I believe that there was a character like the description we hear about in the bible. But I dont go in for the whole super natural, song of god, virgin birth slant. I see jesus christ as being more of a sort of freedom fighter..Like Che Guevara..or maybe Ghandi would be a more fitting comparison.

Hi bluerain25, believing that Jesus Christ exists is the very foundation of Christianity. There is no first hand evidence that Christ Exists since his body has not been found. But there are many second hand accounts of his exploits in many of the ancient writings. It is true that many of those ancients that only heard of him may have depicted him based upon their perceptionsof their Gods. But isn't it inspiring that although there is no secular evidence, so many millions of people have faith that he does indeed exist.

Literally, now in our time Jesus does not exist, as human being, but if we believe in the bible(start in Mathew) it is all written there about his existence, his humanity, his love to the world, the people, the reason for his existence is to show how much we are love by his heavenly father, OUR ALMIGHTY GOD IN HEAVEN who created all living things in the universe.we are created by GOD to follow him, but after the first man and woman committed a sin, free will has given unto us, to live life on our own, without guidance of GOD, we are free to do what ever we want in our lives, we can fly like a bird,so human become sinners, deeper.the bible was written just to let the people know, the purposed of GOD,his will...the reason why he created the world, the people, why he set us free, why he let Satan live in this world. and gave power to dictate the people, the bible will let us understand. ALMIGHTY GOD IN HEAVEN LOVE THE WORLD, LOVE HIS PEOPLE,HE CREATED THIS WORLD but Satan command his people,it hurts to our almighty father GOD IN HEAVEN,he love his people.Because of his love for his people, he let his only begotten son, JESUS, to became human like us,to make us believed that there is TRUE GOD in heaven, OUR FATHER in heaven,

Yes, i do believe that HE really existed in this world and performed countless miracles. Though some people says that it's only a myth. Either it's a myth or not my faith to HIM is still strong. I believe that if people created GOD or Jesus through their imaginations for the reason for us to have fear in committing immoral and guide us to be a better person. Imagine the world if we don't believe in HIM, and have no fear on anything, what would happened to this world? What i don't understand is How human existed. How life started. If Adam and Eve existed where did they come from? Until now science can't prove anything.

As a Christian I have to believe that Jesus Christ did exist! If he didn't everything our faith was based on would be a lie. The bible gives us every reason to know he did exist.

See every religion people go through this phase as once in life time they doubt about the existance of their GOD as no body has seen this and also the orthodox people also have made the mockery of the religion as well which leads to doubts .As no religion has the solid proof that their god existed or not we just believe the all mighty

i grew up, with my knowledge about Jesus according to my parents teaching, and now that i am older, i study the bible, and i learned from it..that Jesus is a son of our almighty father in heaven,he gave his life for us, for our sins, Jesus live inside our heart, if we have faith.

Yes i do believe in Jesus Christ, He is our one and only savior from our sins. I believe what is stated in the Bible. the existence of Jesus Christ though has already been proven before. I have read about that one i just forgot what site it is. Faith is believing at something or someone without seeing it. I haven't seen Jesus but i do believe in Him. faith is the thing that draws us from God. I believe that we will all be saved as long as we follow God's rule.

The historical evidence seems to be that someone called Jesus from Nazereth did exist in the first century CE. After that it is difficult to establish much. The biblical texts that we have were not concerned with history accuracy as such - that is a modern concern. E.g. the infancy stories aim to tell us who Jesus is, not a strictly how he was born. Mark's gospel for a long while was taken to be the truest historically because the earliest, but now scholars reckon that his work is as informed by a theology - again with who Jesus is - as much as any of the other gospels. Its interesting too that St Paul declares that it is completely unimportant who the figure of Jesus is. At the same time, I think it is fascinating to think of who Jesus was and to think of him in more human terms that he has in recent centuries. I think it is interesting to think of him as a great human figure with all of the individuality, quirks, etc., of any other great figure. This is not to suggest that he might not be divine, but to think some more about what it might mean that God might become incarnate in a human being.

Jesus Christ, also known as Hazrat Essa Alaihisalam (his name in Arabic, which means Essa may peace be upon him) existed, and was sent on this earth as a prophet. He was here to guide the people, to let them know that there is only one God (Allah) and to do what God wanted them to. We Muslims believe that he was not crucified, he was taken up in the skies, and he is there, and will come back before 100 years of Qyamat ( the judgement day) and will embrace Islam, so all the Christians and others will accept Islam as their religion, and then there will be a war between the Muslims and those who will follow the Antichrist (Dajjal in Arabic/Urdu). Jesus Christ, Hazrat Essa, will win this war, and then the Judgement day will start. For more information, you can refer to Dr. Zakir Naik's video cassettes and lectures by visiting him on YouTube.

I believe he existed there are records that he did, but the question is, was he really the son of god? Or was he just a really good person who inspired all of us, possibly at the price of his own life? I do believe he was special, although I'm not so sure about the son of god part
