For me, I like JOSHUA! the conqueror, after the leadership of Moses, Joshua take a stand and lead the Israelites to the promise land. He turned the "Brick makers" (Israelites) into a mighty warriors, and rally them to became a strong fighting army. I like Joshua's strategic plan!!

herro raygicaro Welcome to mylot. May you enjoy the fantastic experience I am having at mylot. I think Moses. I can relate to Moses. He consistently asked "why me?" Am yet used him for numerous tasks. He had the opportunity to be of royal family, yet choose to be in God's will. He suffered consequences for not following the will of God. Prosperous mylotting

I can't agree more with you. I always ask 'why me?' too. I'm never a talkative person. I'm more like a quiet person who only talks to few close friends. One day, I was chosen to play one of the major part on a skit for the bible school. It was totally nerve wracking for me. I asked 'why me?' not only to the person who asked me, but also to God. However, I couldn't back down because there wasn't anyone else who was willing to do it. At the first day, I was forced to do it, and I was really nervous. By the end of the first day, I'm surprised that I could do such thing. The kids weren't that bad and I could remember the lines. Since then, I started to trust God more that He would enable me to do this. God will never give you anything more than you can take. He knew I could play this role. It's just me who's never willing to go out of my comfort zone, and that's exactly why He, through my church, chose me to do this. I'm really happy that I could serve the Lord in a way that I wouldn't think I could do before.

Daniel. The man who saved the nation during national crisis. The man who an extremely intelligent person yet fear the Lord and kept his integrity. The man who governed the nation in a foreign land, and trusted by at least 3 kings. The man who closely walked with God, bringing reconciliation and visionary messages from God. If it is a son in my wife's womb, I am going to name him Daniel.

There are so many inspiring heroes of faith in the old testament. They are all worthy of admiration actually. And yes Joshua is worth being favorited. He has a very strong conviction. He is the one who stood and said " As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!" How inspiring and he should be a good model to all Christians. Now my favorite is David. Despite the fact that he committed two grave sins against the Lord this man is still considered by the God as the man after His own heart. I like David's humble spirit and I am so inspired by his strong love for the word of God. I also like the strong faith of Abraham who without any reservation followed God when He asked him to sacrifice his only son Isaac. What a faith? Job is also worth of admiration. He suffered the most of all the people in the OT and yet he stood firm in his faith. This man is truly remarkable.

Hi salonga, yes i admire David too. from a small beginning as a sheperd boy, he became a king of Israel. and also His intimacy with God was remarkable. I like his Psalms, truly a man after God's own heart. Also abraham, a man of faith, because of him the nation of Israel become numerous! I like Job's resiliency and his unfading love for God..

Mine is King David. When I was a child, I love reading his story in our one set of "My Bible Stories" books. I imagine his adventures, from his childhood as a shepherd boy, then when he brought down the giant Goliath, and then when he played harp to treat King Saul's illness, and King Saul's haunted him and his adventures in the wilderness, until he became King. It was like I am watching a movie!

I like Moses alot as so much happened to his life since young and there is so much to his lifestory. He was a kid from Israel but was raised as a prince of Egypt. When he realised his birth history, he returned to help his people as they were enslaved in Egypt. He was also tasked to lead God's people to the Promised Land although he did not enter the Land itself. In the movie "Ten Commandments", Moses strike a commanding figure, a Leader and a person with great responsibility.
