Do you think that success brings more success?

Success frequently begets success for the simple reason that each time you attain one goal, you gain the confidence necessary to pursue the next one. Even a small accomplishment can make you feel more enthusiastic about the path you have chosen and give you the courage to aim for more. Do you agree?

Yes i believe it does. You see, when someone get successful in something, they strengthens. The next level (more success) might take some risk, but those risk are nothing compare to the present level. Before first being successful though, that same risk would be everything and you wouldn't be able to make those risk. So you can see. Is like this. A man that is poor cant start a business if the starting of the business is going to cost him more than he can afford. And he wont borrow because he don't have the confidence that the business is really going to workout. While a man who is already successful in maybe a much smaller business will try to grow that business. being successful in his first business would encourage him to move on until he is successful on a higher level. Its just life. All you need is confidence.

Hi Renhard, Sorry for being so late in getting back to you. I didn't always have the confidence that I have today, but it comes with doing. I've been fairly successful as a public speaker and many people have told me that I helped them. To me that is much more important than making a lot of money. I am now looking at publishing a book as I enjoy writing. Blessings.

The idea is to continue trying your best to achieve all your goals. We always need an action plan and several steps to follow in order to become successful.

Hi Mirita, My thoughts are that success brings confidence which is often the magical ingredient for further success. I agree though that there has to be commitment and of course, common sense. Blessings.

Success comes in the way we do. So we need much determination and willingness to be successful. A little task shall grow widely, if a person gives his full effort to do the tasks, the things that he wanted for and probably a successful end shall come. That's the success for me giving extra efforts.

Hi jeffsheryl, Thanks for commenting and that is true but don't forget that success builds confidence and unless one becomes overly confident will bring more success. Blessings.

i don't wholly agree to it. although success may bring you confidence or something els. Once you've succeed in some field, then people in that area may have higher expectations for you. So you'll take greater pressure, and you have to get greater successes ,or people will turn a blind eye to it. that't why a successful people have to do more to achieve another success. And to some extend, success is harder for them. Many kid stars fail to became stars as adults, which can really support my view.

Hi dexter, Thanks for sharing your views but remember that kid star may be just trying to please their parents or others and may develop a totally different personality when they grow up. I feel that success breeds confidence and unless one throws caution to the wind, will bring more success. Blessings.

Well I really think that success some how motivates to bring more success!!! The question is really quite interesting. Since no one is content with what they have they tend to want to have more and more of what they already have. Hence with success comes more success!!!!!

Hi endelpub, Success breeds confidence and thus more success. One can of course become foolhardy and let a little success go to their head. Thanks for your comment. Blessings.

i totally agree with you.Acquiring something makes you energetic and absolutely confident about succeeding again. If you lose from the first step, you are so upset to do anything else. I got a part-time job as a salesgirl last month which excited me a lot. But after 2 weeks, i was fired because of my rubber-time habit. Now, i am kind of scared and i haven't tried to find another job since then =.=

Well I think it depends on the person and in the situation. Some people do good to become successful and it encourage them more to do a good work. Some people who experience success are overconfident sometimes, that's why they lose their business.

No, not always. I think it depends on the people and circumstances of your success. Look at movie actors/actresses, they may have one big movie, making millions of dollars and then a year later they might have a total flop. I lke the theory of success breeding success, because when you first achieve success you feel like you can acomplish anything...and everybody should be able to have that feeling of achievement.

It follows i guess. If a person got what he/she wants and gain success, wanting for more is not far to asks and dreamed of. Still it depends on every person and situation. If a person thinks of a simple life, and is contented with what he/she got with one success,then,he/she stops there. It is the contentment that counts, even if more offer is coming and knocking. Just my opinion

Yes I think so. In the same way where a little bit of failure begets another failure. It is like a train that sometimes goes on and on. So you should pick which track you would like to be on. It would be commendable of course to choose success. But the real tricky part is getting on that train.

Of course, this is why successful people become more successful with time. But you have to be cautious once you become successful in order to remain successful. I also believe that people who are not successful today can become successful with a little effort and determination.

Catalyst....that's what it is..a successful hit by a terrorist also implies that he/she grows more confident and attempts greater inflictions....but to tarnish a persons need to grow with the reference of a negative factor like a "terrorist's ambition" is not POSITIVE....Hence I do believe that a good deed does deserve another...and that kind of catalyst is positive...Yes we should go on doing the good...
