Hi myLotters, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Youtube's partner program, in case you don't know what I'm talking about, the Youtube partner program is a way of people being rewarded for their videos by an add sharing revenue, little adds are embedded in the videos and they get payed by views and by having users click on the adds they have displayed on their videos, it's like google add sense but to qualify for a Youtube partner you need to qualify, your channel needs to have a lot of views daily, you need a high number of views on all of your videos and a lot of subscribers, when you apply for a partnership they check your channel and see how you interact with the youtube community and they also check if you have any copy written material. A lot of people have been successful with this partner program, the only problem is that only certain countries accept partners, but they say other countries are constantly entering, unfortunately i can't be a partner yet:( Anyway, my question is: what do you think of it? do you think it's good for them to encourage young actors and producer wannabes into pursuing their dreams? Do you think you should need so much qualifications to be a partner or do you think that anyone should be able to be one from the moment they log in? What about the countries, don't you think it's unfair that some countries have this program and others don't? I would like to hear, in this case read your thoughts on this. (Hmmm...read your thoughts, does that mean i can read minds? Suspense music)

I really support the Youtube Partners program because it gives monetary compensation to GOOD Youtubers who spend a lot of their personal time preparing, filming, and editing their videos. If they were to give partner to anybody, there would be so many crap videos posted just to make a few bucks and remove the incentive for people to put in the effort to do the best possible job in making videos. For those who don't have it yet, but want to become a partner, I think it's a good way to stay motivate and find a style or niche that you can fit that interests people without becoming of the thousand of other Youtube channels. As for not having it all countries, who cares if it's not fair, Youtube is ultimately a business. I'm sure Youtube WANTS to expand to other countries because they want the cash flow, but there are probably a lot of legalities and issues doing the partner program in other countries that make the hassle not worth it.
