In life all have problems, sufferings, tension or whatever and with all this if one can still say 'Praise the Lord' that means one is able to pick wheat from chaff. Are you the one? Then how did you get there?

I tell my kids to thank God for everything. Right now we are looking for a home and we keep getting these road blocks. I still say "Praise God" because only he knows where he is taking us. Right now we have a place to call home so I feel fortunate. I know it's hard at times to thank God or Praise him but after all that is what makes God happy that we all know that no matter what he is in control and knows what he is doing.

If everything was smooth sailing life would have been quite boring. One cannot eat sweets all the time is what I tell those that cannot face adverse conditions. But you seem to be on the right track and in it there is happiness.

Herro allknowing Can I say "Praise the Lord?" Yes, I can. If it were not for a miracle of God I would not be alive today. He intervened in my cancer case 5+ yrs ago. I tell Him thank every day for the day He gave me. Although I have constant pain and neuropathy, I know that there is a reason for my trials. Is He picking the "wheat from the chaff?" I know God is preparing me for something. Many people may not believe that I can still say "Praise the Lord", that is their privilege. I know and God knows what is in my heart. God bless you Prosperous mylotting

Happiness lies in counting ones blessings and the ability to count is the true blessing once again.

Hi! I think picking up wheat from chaff is not an easy task, however, I do try and make efforts. You see it all depends upon our experience, how do we find out hidden diamonds out of anything. Once we interact with someone, we get to know about him/her and continuous interaction helps us to distinguish between wheat and chaff.

OH! I could not get the proper meaning earlier, thanks for clarifying. I always count my blessings and whenever I feel upset I look back and see what kind of gifts the Great God has given me in life.

When I said picking wheat from chaff I was referring to picking our blessings from the heap that contains both tribulations and blessings.

Despite problems, sufferings, tensions, which are part and parcel of life, I am able to count my blessing and always look for silver linings in the sky and say, "Praise the Lord". I learnt this with age and experience. Life taught me to do this.

What is life if there are no challenges and with the kind of thinking that you have I am sure you look forward to your challenges. Keep it up!

i always praised the Lord from what happened and may happen in my life. though how glad i am in a day or the time i feel the joy i couldn't explain, i still cannot forget to praise Him. how many times i've feel the recurring pain and almost lost my sanity of it, i still praised Him. though i couldn't deny that there was once i blamed Him because He let me suffered much but after gaining an enlightenment which i couldn't explain how it happened, i then understood that i was missing somethin inside of me---i thought before that all things in this world is enough for a man to live and be happy but i was wrong. i felt i was slapped my face the truth that i have learned---the contentment cannot be seen in this world but rather in the world inside of you. praise the Lord!

You could be a testimony to your recovery from sadness to happiness after realising that the path that you took earlier was not the right one. All of us go through this and those that retract from having taken the wrong steps are the truly blessed.

I still say that. Life may seem unfair but God is always right there for us. He never leave us. And those trials are given to test our capabilities, to make us a lot more stronger for our mission, for our true mission in the life He promised to us.... And all those trials are never given unbearable. God bless and more power.

Yes indeed. Trials make us stronger and with the belief that with trials comes help from God it is a joy really to face them. God is there where trials are.

Yes, I can still say, "Praise the Lord!" even in the midst of this adversity. One thing that has carried me through is the truth that He never changes and just because I am walking through a dark, deep valley didn't remove Him from His throne!

God has reasons why he sends us tribulations and when one knows that God is there to help one carry the burden there lies solace and comfort. You have found that
