Do you go to church regularly. I know the more stauch catholics go to church or mass every day. For myself as a methodist, I go to church weekly and sometimes weekdays for bible study classes. Do you think it necessary to go to church or praying or worshipping at home works as well.

Well first of all I think the way you formulated your question points toward going toward church as a necessary condition for praying or worshipping. But going foward a little bit praying and worshipping are only means to the ends of reaffirming ones faith in whatever they may believe in. I can understand the need to congregate with like minded people and engage in ceremony, as has been found to be an anthropologic need, but it isnt necessary. I dont think its necessary because everyone has a unique and indescribable relationship with their faith and this may not be properly exercised in a group setting.

I would say that with going to this church, I've been more of a church goer than I have at previous churches I've attended. It was hard to go to church when I didn't know what my schedule was going to be like, workwise. But, since I have this job, it's been easier. I do plan on going to church this week, after I took a three week time out from it...lol I just don't consider myself a religious person, though. I go to church and it's like I just don't feel the spirit or something upsets there, like some of the people, then I take a few weeks of off it just to regroup. Or I start hearing from some of the people I go to church with. And, then I go back.

hi Steinway, thanks for your sharing. Sometimes when we are down or really need some quiet time, it is good to go aside to pray or commune with the Holy Spirit. It really depends on your personal walk with Him.

I go to church everyday. I also go to church activities if there are any. It is very necessary for us to go to church regularly because we renew our covenants with God. We need to be reminded of our covenants cause renewing our covenants would mean that you will be guided accordingly every day of every week.

hi p3ks626, thanks for your sharing. It has to do with our own personal relationship with our heavenly Father and being in constant touch to understand His will for us.

hi hushi22, thanks for sharing. That is the pitfall of working shifts especially in the nursing line. I suppose it all boils down to the heart. I believe over the internet, some prominent churches have live podcast.

It is up to every person. I usually go to church every Sunday and just on holidays during the week. Most of my friends don't go to church for months, if not even years. They are either to lasy to do this, or they don't like to go. It is up to ones personality, belief or habits. I think that if you are a member of a congregation, you have to go church regularly, because you have to show it that you belong there.

I think each individual has to find within himself or herself the meaning of his/her faith. I am not saying that going to church is mandatory but it is important to keep the faith and maintain a close walk with God and the church if possible.
