Indian's crazy for Gold!! Healthy or weakness?

Everybody knows that Indians are crazy for Gold. Everyone saves gold than money in Indian families. The value of gold is in Indians hands. Is it good or bad?
I heard that few months before in America, thieves were targeted Indian families as they'll have more gold. So what you think. Saving gold improves India's economy too. But when it comes in personal life, many marriages stopped because of dowry. People get mad for gold.

Gold is health,mostly womens are crazy on gold,they love gold but on the same angle this is the weakness too,as you stated it stops many marriages,drinks many humans lifes,making one very mad.

Yes Sun. Loving gold is good. But the same time getting mad for that is bad.

India people only know Gold they don't love to keep the cash with the because of they feel insecure if having cash with them that's why .

Its not like they feel insecure of cash. Gold jewells are loved by indian girls much. Everything is good still it become addiction. Thats what i feel
