I totally agree with you! I love every bit of the sea and the view you can see around...

Awww! I experienced the same. I still have the scar from the jellyfish venom. But it didn't stop me from loving me the sea so much. @atv818 (1980)

I don't know how to swim but I prefer going to the beach provided it is in our beloved country where Boracay resides. Sigh! Unexplicably remarkable.
Since Boracay is a flight and a boat ride away from where I live, the alternative would be to go to a pool at Makati Shangrila Hotel. What a lovely site for me. Water calm my nerves and I don't mind paying extra more for a privilege to unwind.

Wow! I wish I could see Boracay as well. But I like Dakak better. I don't know why.

I can't choose because it depends on my routine that I am going to do. If I want to do the swimming routine of course I would prefer to go in swimming pool and sometimes I can't just do it at the sea because I have the tendency to drink water accidentally aside from that whenever there's wave I just can't do it. But if I just want to relax and enjoy the water then I would really prefer going to the beach where I could even enjoy the waves.

Ohh... I guess we have different preferences then
I'm glad you enjoy both though.

I agree with you. Though I don't really like swimming pools that much, it's still preferable by some because you can get to choose where you want to stay.

I prefer the beach, it's much nicer, makes me feel happier. I like the warm sand beneath my feet. Snacks are sold close by too :D And the sea is beautiful whereas the swimming pool can get boring rather quick and it's the smell of chlorine that makes me sick after a while. Also I don't visit the beach very often, only when I am on holiday so it's much nicer when I do visit.

Yeah. the sand were really good for the feet. I think it helps to make you feel more relaxed. I also hate the chlorine. My nose is quite allergic to it. Whenever I swim at pools, I always end up sneezing.
I can't go often to beach resorts too.. Hopefully we could.

I prefer a tropical sea to swim in than in a swimming pool. That sea water can be clear and as warm as bath water. One time I had a close to magical experience swimming in the sea in the Seychelles when I felt cool raindrops falling on me. It was a special experience which is now a lovely memory. I love it when I can go snorkeling around a colorful coral reef. In Cairns I found a superb swimming pool with tropical plants around it. In my home country there are indoor swimming pools and most of them have water that is too cool for my liking.

I love the ocean. I love the atmosphere that the beach provides. The sunsets can be awesome, and the waves can be really relaxing to listen to. I will go into the water sometimes when I am out there, but I usually prefer a swimming pool when I really want to have a relaxing swim. There are a lot less dangers in a swimming pool. You don't have to worry about jelly fish or sting-rays, and there are no sharks in a swimming pool to swim up and kill you. So, I love to spend the day at the beach when I want to have a good time and enjoy nature, but when I just want to swim, I prefer a swimming pool...

Yeah right. I actually experienced being stung by a jellyfish. It happened two times now. The first is the worst. It left a scar on my right foot. Which is still visible until now. But it doesn't matter, I still love beach resorts no matter what.

hi invisiblelady I like swimming pools for real swimming and the
Newport pier and beach for just plain relaxing. each has its own
unique place in my heart. I love to swim but in a pool where there
are no jelly fish to sting or mantee rays to sting one. I love
to just stroll along NewPort beach. The Pacific is always fun to
watch and relax there.

Wow Hatley, you've done quite a pretty assessment there. I experienced being hit by a jellyfish. But that doesn't stop me from loving to swim in the sea.

I would prefer to swim at the beach with natural waters and not chlorinated one.
But when it comes to safety with kids,we would prefer to go with pool.
Sometimes we go to beaches with private pool so that kids can enjoy as we do.
Have a good weekend

That is the main reason why my family love the beach! It's all natural and you don't have to worry about the toxins you might get from dirty water.

If I am going for a swim, I will prefer a swimming pool. A swimming pool is much more suitable for swimming and it is safe from the ocean wave. However, I will prefer a beach if I am going for a trip. The surrounding over there is much more relaxing that you can just lying on the beach for the whole day listening to the sound of the ocean and enjoying the sunset. For me the beach and swimming pool both of them are really different.

Yes, you are right. They are totally different. But I still love and will always choose beach over swimming pool.
