When was the last time you felt so crushed you wanted to give up?

Today it was like everything was going wrong. My car broke and I missed some clients. This plus everything the last few years just hit me like a ton of bricks and I lost it. All I could do was lay on the floor crying my eyes out and praying for forgiveness for the anger I had and strength to endure the pain. So when is the last time your life was shattered? How did you make it through?

BStuff, I'm sorry that you've had a rough day today. I agree that we all have "those" days when we feel like there is just too much garbage in life to go on. Recently, I had my car break down, my bank account hacked into, and my cat pooped in my shoe. The poop in my shoe is what finally got to me--- I just started crying. The next day. I had to laugh about the poop. I still haven't resolved the issues with my car, but I have the personal satisfaction of flipping the car the bird every time I walk by it in my apartment complex. It brings me an odd sense of relief. And the bank settled the disputed charges with no problem. I hope that you have a better day tomorrow. Cheers!

It happens to all of us at times so don't let it get too much for you. Treat yourself out to something you really enjoy, an ice-cream, maybe go shopping? Focus on spoiling yourself for a little bit and then remember all the good that happened the day before and the great stuff you know will happen tomorrow. In Judaism there is a saying, "a descend in order for an ascent." We take one step back in order to move two steps forward. Don't give up, your going places in life and are lucky to be you, so many wish to have your life. Smile, tomorrow is a new day :)

Oh, that was a real pain. I had that experiences too. I just cry out loud and pray.. i talk to God to ease the pain. And, I started thinking of how would i solve the problem or how would I make my life change into better. Then, i would think of good things. I tried so hard to get rid of bad thoughts. And I began to smile, wiped my tears and stood up. Made a promise that I would be stronger than before.

When trials and problem comes in our life, there also come a time that we felt all alone and that all the bad things connive to let us down. This is also the right time for us to realize that we cannot hold and control everything our hands. By this situation we run to God and cast everything upon HIM. We surrender our lives and ask forgiveness. At least you keep holding on to GOD. I also been into situation once in my life that i felt i want to give up,only God give me the courage to hold on. I salute you for having all the faith to hold on to GOD. Have a wonderful weekend

Whenever I fell like a train wreck. I think of reason on why I live, from family to the person you love. A person needs to feel love to feel life. Your mind needs to be tough to cope with certain things.

14 years back when I was promoted to another class, my so called friends never bothered to talk, smile and spend time together anymore. That was the two years baddest time of my life. Even till this date, I still recall the moments when everyone stay away from me that makes me feel useless and not worthy as a friend to them. Anyway, cheer up! Tommorrow might be a new day!

I relate to feeling like on many occassions. I have been through situations when I did not have the will to go on anymore but somehow I always did. It became somewhat easier after I had my daughter because I know that I always have to move on from things because she needs me and I cannot afford to give up. Before she came along it was a lot harder; I used to tell myself that I had two choices, to live with my life and take another step or throw in the towel but I knew there were people who loved me who would not want me to give up on my life. It is a choice; best to shed some tears, rest up and keep moving...We all go through sad times...

I just joined a new job and I am a trainee so everyone is giving me works to do and I cannot even say No because I have to accept the works though I must admit that it is not a big deal for me to do the job, however the company is divided in two buildings and sometimes they tell me to go to the another when I am already in the first one, so I have to leave everything I am doing to walk some four to five buildings more to go to the another. This is frustrating and one day I was really feeling as if I am being crushed by these people in the department.
