Just today I think of clarifying all this things, base on those discussion I have read a while ago. This matter is implied there, but I want it to be simple here! I want everybody who has still doubt about the rule can understand it already... I guess, Lamby has also clarified this to us once again... THIS IS IT: 1. A YES or NO posts are violation, that is very clear... 2. Posting Personal Info 3. Milestones (Birthdays and the like) So? The question: Are we really not allowed to post such? THE ANSWER: No, we can still post such, but we have to create an exemption. DID I say before that rule is not absolute? It has an exemption. So we would make an exemption... Now, Lamby is brilliant, to make this violation NOT a violation, let us make a QUALITY DISCUSSION about this one (ABOUT THOSE VIOLATIONS)! IS it clear now: Here my angel is ready to help you, right ANGEL? So are you ready to learn about how to make wrong things RIGHT? (I know this is a yes or know question, but is this violate the rules?)

There are NO 'rules'! MyLot provide us with GUIDELINES ... and for very good reason. Since there are no rules, there can be no exceptions or exemptions. Some people think of rules as if they are there to be 'got around' (and consider themselves 'clever' when they do so). There are no loopholes in a set of guidelines. The purpose of MyLot is to provide a place for QUALITY discussions. If a discussion does not meet certain criteria of 'quality' (as outlined in the Guidelines but better defined by a true understanding of them as 'guidelines' and NOT 'rules') then it is liable to be deleted by Admin. If you need an alternative and more concise version of the Guidelines, I suggest that you look at this discussion posted by 'MyLot': http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/457762.aspx The bottom line is NOT 'Does it break the rules?' but 'Is this really a good and worthy discussion topic which encourages good quality responses?' If there is any doubt about it at all, it indicates that you need to rethink or reword the topic.

Honestly Prime, i think i make most of the mistakes here. I tend to forget some do's and don'ts, must be the age thing, i think. People just need to learn how to create a little story if they step over a guideline, that would make it easier and more acceptable, i think. TATA.

hi prime I think ex lambie hit it right on the button. we can sometimes bend the rules and have a great discussion, but its not fun to break a rule blatantly and just lose our discussions. Yes you have made things' very clear prime. sure always ready to learn how to make wrong things right. No that does not appear to violate a rule.

I guess you got an exemption, since your discussion is still here. I love seeing if I can sneak one by, but I'm not too happy if it doesn't. Not fair to everybody who replied, either...

With all the homework that one does what with memorising all the FAQs, guidelines or whatever I have come to the conclusion that one needs to be in the good books of everyone here in order to avoid deletions as most deletions are due to reporting and not all violations are reported It is better that we train the newbies and the oldies too to stay cool even if the user has said something nasty and just say "you are right" Please take this in the spirit it is meant to be
